Asus Zenfone 8 review

What's the difference between the zenfone 8 zoom capabilities and the samsung galaxy s21? Given that both use a 64MP sensor but Samsung can do 3x hybrid zoom and zenfone only 2x loosless? Thanks.

But it comes with a case ,i bought only Samsung but its my past one no morte ever ,Alain not that i complainte but the prince is a fip off we pays on euros the samedi peuple pays on dollars even more not even a snapdragon...ridiculous...to me its over...i tale this as a e exemple 599.00 i paid 1100.00 for a s20 plus 5g .

The reviewers mention it, but not to the extent they should. That saves battery too. You can throttle the phone down to the level if a S10e, which is still very fast. And you still get the high refresh screen. The only real downside of the phone is the lack of nice 3rd party accessories, like cases and nice screen protectors. One can not beat Samsungs,Pixels and iphones at that.

Battery life
Finger... moreI got a Zenfone 8 8/128gb on a recdnt Amaxon sale for 535 Euros, and I feel like a thief. This phone is everything GSM Arena's review claimed it was, and I have experienced zero of the issues people have mentioned.
It gets warm when charging, but not very significantly. During use, heating is not noticable.
The fingerprint sensorworks perfectly well, even if it may not be the fastest out there. No issues with unlocking my phone.
The battery life is just fine? For a Snapdragon 888 phone with a 4000 mAh battery, I don't have anything to complain about. One comment below has mentioned "3-4 hours SoT". Well, I get about 6.5 hours on the Auto refresh setting.
I think people don't quite realize just how small the Zenfone 8 feels. The experience of holding it is like that of an iPhone 6/7/8, but somewhat taller and a good deal handier thanks to how curved the back is. There isn't a current gen Android more comfortable to use, and the feature list of this phone really is exhaustive. I don't know how people expect a MicroSD slot and wireless charging: this thing is full to the brim as it is. Even if compactness isn't a draw to you, the price should be.

be careful with this phone, i got it sometime in july, and 1 month after, it bricked with a "ramdump" issue. Many owners experiencing the same issue. GG

Got it yesterday, amazing phone. Using it in 120 Hertz mode, without AOD, not quite sure about the battery life yet but so far I'm very happy, the camera takes good photos, the microphone sounds nice and clean, the speakers are very suprising although not as loud as my old phone but simply superior in sound and even the headphone jack sounds very, very good! Nice phone, I can recommend it.

I am coming from Sony xz2 compact, still running fine and was waiting for a new Sony compact whice they won't build as a flagship, I am going to settle on the sony 5 ii although 9mm longer than asus a4 but same width and depth, is anyone had this Sony previously
