"they look like a watercolor painting with all fine detail and texture being non-existent"
The definition of Xiaomi's image processing. They are always too aggressive with the noise reduction and the JPEG compression. I can even notice that watercolor effect coming out from flagship phones like Mi 11 Ultra. It is just soo typical Xiaomi being self-destructive when it comes to its cameras.
"However, the raw files looked just fine, and exporting them to JPEG produced much more pleasing and detailed results."
Imagine if cheaper mid-range phones were allowed to take photos with their real actual quality taking full advantage of their specs which are nowadays more than great. That would be a disaster for the expensive flagships so instead they try to overprocess the photos to make them look bad to reflect the lower price somehow.

And no MIUI Eu custom ROM for you. If you like MIUI apps, call recording..., you can only hope for some Indonesia ROM to have them.

Media tek chipsets are very stable and in some cases outperform the Snapdragon in same price segments. Even photos and videos are processed very well.... But yes the GCam support is decisive point in this segment, where for me SD chipsets take the win.

Thanks to Gsmarena for this review. Gave a good idea about the phone. Although I like it but I'll go with the Snapdragon variant for better tomorrow.

Such a shame Xiaomi didn't bring the blue color to the normal Note 10, the color options for that one is kinda bland to be honest. Only the white looks somewhat appealing to me
