That would literally make Xperia 10 III lose only 12% battery capacity in 5 years which is impossible.
Sony using cheap regular batteries which start degradation around 300-400 charge cycles.
effectively it will be 80% in 2 years which is same as Oppo with 120W and less than Oppo with 65W which is at 90% after 2 years.

This phone is looking tempting. I'm planning to replace my Sony Xperia Z5 compact, which has treated me wonderfully over the last 5+ years. I'm going to hold out to see if Sony brings out a new compact series phone though since this one is a whole inch taller than the Z5 compact.
I like the specs that this one has on paper. Great battery life, lots more memory than my old phone, has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, SD card slot and the power button is in the perfect spot like my current phone.

You are upset about the charger, but I'm not. I have higher-power PD chargers so don't need another one, and frankly prefer a low-power charger (or the ability to disable rapid charging) since I usually charge overnight and so have little need for speed - even less if the phone's battery life is good.
Frankly I'd rather have good battery life and slow charging which is less taxing on longevity than the "we'll make up for crap autonomy by charging quickly, and if the battery is degraded after 2 years so much the better" approach that is the industry standard.

after more than 4 years this phone will be the successor of my xperia X.
it's a pity that this phone hasn't gryoscope and stereo speakers (this one is not too important for me), except these 2 "problems" it's perfect (a bit too expensive, it would be better with the same price of Xperia 10 II

Find X3 Pro (1100 euros) has old gorilla 5 and 3MP rear camera. The 65W only works with Oppo charger, a 65W from any other maker makes phone cap at 12W. That is cheating on costumer.
OP8 (announced 800 euros) = gorilla 5, plastic frame, 2MP rear camera, Qi charging only for USA/Europe, IP68 only for T-mobile USA version.
Dont you think that this is even worse than a €450 phone with crappy 2013 cam hardware?
Yes, this 12MP is old , from 2018. It is worse to see many phones using 2 and 5MP sensors that are from 2011.
* My 2015 xperia has IP68, jack, metal frame and stereo.

I m pretty sure you picked up that con r... morethis is not true, with usb 3.1 you can pick cheap cable and connect your phone with tv, nothing beat wired usb in terms of latency, reliablity and speed. if you dont know things like Samsung dex, Huawei alternative, Rog phone dock etc use usb 3.1.
probably normal consumer dont know it but gaming communities always recomends phone with usb 3.1, you cant game with miracast or dlna.

For viewing, yes, people often view it directly on their phones, or screen cast.
But for transfering pictures, no thing can beat old reliable USB cable.
