Samsung is already on to their third generation of Fold phones while they at (another major OS) have done no work there so far. Shows that Android world is full of innovations, new features, designs etc. The other OS looks very outdated in comparison

Flip3 is the Phone of the Year. Will make flip phones mainstream again. I'm wondering if Motorola will finally drop the price of their Razr to below $500? The Flip3 makes it look very dated with its SD765 vs. Its SD888. Even if Motorola did, it probably will still won't sell like the Flip3 will.

Dust, durability, battery, cameras, the line in the middle of the screen, the odd aspect ratio of both screens, the cost per unit too high because they try to do something before the technology is ready. The design foldables need to have is the mate x/xs' design. One set of high quality cameras and one display therefore cheaper to produce plus this design allows them to make them thinner.
Disclaimer :I am not saying huawei foldables are the best, technically they are but they are too expensive and China exclusives

Still way too many compromises. The huge display display of the fold 3 and the compactness of the flip 3 are outstanding but manufacturers have to sacrifice a lot(camera, battery,durability). The flip gets away because of how compact it is but the fold doesn't really make sense. For that price you can get an s21 ultra, a tablet and a smartwatch. Yeah, you now have to keep with you 2 different things but you get a much better experience.

So glad to be part of the premium ecosystem of Android where companies have already mastered a new segment like foldable, unlike other ecosystems where one doesn't even have a prototype design yet.
Android offering cutting-edge tech to the consumers. Can you even expect something like this elsewhere? Just by sitting on a pile on money, refusing to innovate, dumping outdated hardware & software onto their userbase, one simply cannot become the OS of choice on smartphones.

Samsung does not seem to understand the clamshell concept very well.
I want a clamshell loo Ike the Motorola RAZR, a phone designed and developed to be a clamshell. Not a regular candy bar phone cut in two pieces with a hinge to fold in half. Jesus, is that so hard to create ? They spend millions ,bwhy don't they spend more in R&D ?
