damn that camera is magic! Everytime i see a Pixel phone's camera samples i can't believe how perfect the processing is. Can't wait to see what the Pixel 6 Pro will be capable of.

I just got my 5a on Friday. Driving home from work with android auto running it overheated. I am now in the process of returning this device. Buyer beware.

It's the incredible battery life in a relatively compact chassis that's kept me very interested. Put in the tensor chip, make a few small improvements and release the 6a here in India, Google!

So, I think you are DEFINITELY mistaked with prices. Unless you buy from a reseller in Ebay or Amazon (which can add their own prices - I have seen one selling a used pixel 4a for 500€), the prices are definitely not higher than US.

Well, it's good that this one is not coming to Europe, becouse iPhones and Pixels are much more expensive here than in USA. You say that Pixel 4a LTE in USA costs about 350 $, but in central Europe that is 550 $. ON DISCOUNT! And Pixel 4a 5G is 735 $... So Pixel 5a 5G would be around 750-800 $, for this hardware waaaaaay to much.

Pr... moreYou forgot to say about sony that it has smaller screen, low depth (21:9 instead of 20:9), older and slower chipset, no pixel experience (sony had own UI but I think now they are more like AOSP than a skin), worse cameras (albeit presense of telecam), and impossible that it can get more updates than a Google device. I dont believe such claims. They can be ONLY true for ONLY the most premium devices of brand (i.e. like S and Note series of Samsung gets longer support wheras A series lesser, M series even lesser and J series not at all).

Surprised y'all didn't list the Xperia 10 III. Processor performance aside, you get a microSD card slot, aspect ratio that makes more sense for videos, IP68 (vs the IP67 of the Pixel), DAC in the headphone jack, Gorilla Glass 6, and Telephoto cam while sacrificing stereo speakers, and longer software support for $25 cheaper.
Either way, this is a solid mid-ranger for the US. It only needed microSD card suppport and 90Hz to be just right despite using last year's processor for the price.
