Even when you use exposure compensation, sometimes the iPhone camera makes the face of a person brighter and more orange than it really is. When you look at the live photo animation, the face looks realistic.
I also noticed that my hair looks artificial, when someone takes a portrait photo of me (Iso 640). Apple seems to use watercolor noise reduction, which makes images look artificial.

Yes the 120 Hz panel is good to have but iPhone otherwise offers a well rounded phone that works well for most users and you also get 5 years of support. Cheaper androids have poor s/w implementations . Android is more like specs race without refinement

The new non Pro iPhones are just subpar. The 60 Hertz display alone is a big reason why, even budget Android phones offer more nowadays and it makes a big difference in my experience. You want more than that? Sure, just pay 1000€+ for the iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max. It's stupid, now the smaller iPhones are just worse versions instead of the bigger ones just having some nice extras..

I think it is stupid if I buy a phone only based on the hype or emotion then I say that that phone is not good or not worth it.

I had never owned an iphone, only had an ipad mini for a short few months but just couldn't get used to it. But that doesn't mean I don't see the point of an iOS devices.
