Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would like to answer this question. Can the phone be used for hands free calling via bluetooth, ie, say a name into the bluetooth device and the phone will dial it, as here in the UK you can only use a phone "hands free" whilst driving.
Thanks All

      I've just got one of these on orange contract today. haven't had much chance to play yet, but texting seems fine to me using T9 predictive, its just as easy as a normal phone. its no harder or easier than qwerty on lg viewty, and to be honest if you had a qwerty on this phone it would be far too small to use properly. I think samsung made the right decision

        Well, typing without T9 is really pain, when you are used to sending messages all the time.. And qwerty is very useful, makes it faster and, what is important for me, i dont have pain in my thumbs then. so some of us are no lazy, but its just more convenient.

          Why does everyone care about not having a qwerty virtual keypad?
          I've been texting since I had an old Nokia on Mercury one2one and I still use plain old fashioned text, none of this T9 crap. Stop being so lazy!

              Yes, you CAN set mp2 message tones... I also work for O2 and we have had Samsung in demonstrating their latest handsets (Soul, F480, F400, etc.) and they have listened to customer feedback and concluded that ALL future handsets after and including the U900 Soul CAN have mp3 message tones.

                This is out on o2 on 26th May. I work for them and have our standard upgrade matrix in front of me, it is free on 18 month contracts on £35+ tariffs. It is free on 12m contracts on £40+ tariffs. If you already have a contract with o2 and want to buy the handset you can do for £259.99.

                  I was wondering if someone could answer me a question;

                  Can you customize the widgets in the main screen? Not like take one off and put another on but actually download different widgets from the internet (similar to what you can do on a pc or the endless customizations you seem to be able to do on the iphone). It seems stupid to have like 8 widgets to choose from and thats it, and from what i have heard thats what its going to be like. Other than that great phone, cant wait to try one.

                      I think LG Viewty is far superior. There is no virtual qwerty which does not make any sense.

                      Is it just me or is Samsung following LG now a days.. with Armani after Prada and this 5MP touch after Viewty?

                            Depending on which ountry you reside in and how much you earn, 3G is better. Its lighter on the battery. Wider coverage and better for on the move surfing. Of course for those who don't have access to 3G, or don't want to pay for an unlimited data plan, WiFi is better. Me? I have 3G and have access to unlimited data plans. So WiFi isn't an issue.
