With all this analysis i still don't see a good reason to upgrade to S22 ultra, my note 20 is almost the same with this year edition of S series.

E2200 has lower sustained performance compared to SD8g1.
Also, its peak power used is more than 50% higher.

My s21u had focusing issues after a firmware update, similar to the ones on this review unit. 1 firmware update later and the camera works like a charm, never happened again

They made two separated cameras to provide two ranges of optical zoom 😂

Camera is atrocious. But this is Samsung, so yeah. Nothing new here. They had just one capable camera phone and this was Symbian powered INNO8V.

If you shoot/crop these 4:3 images to 3:2 or 16:9 they become 10-9 MP.......... what's the point???? I'd like to suggest the concerns to bring a ~6mmX9mm ~2/3" 4000X6000p 24MP image sensor. e.g. IMX718. It's a pity that no camera apps allow you to shoot in Classic 3:2 mode!!!!

Is the reason the s22 doesn't go as bright as the s22+/ultra just because it has a smaller battery? (So software limited), or is it simply because the pixels are smaller? 🤷‍♂️

The last couple of years have given Android shite flagship SoC.
A good amount of the problem is having to use Samsung foundry. I don't care how great of a deal Qualcomm got, but it seems like they're reversing course tout suite.
Hopefully arm gives us something decent this year. The whole X-series has been a disaster, and the updated little core is just trash. Too damn habituated to their monopoly
