Coming from a note 10+. Few things.
Phone looks the same, which is a good thing.
S pen feel is not as nice as the Note 10+ imo. It doesn't pop out in the same way, you have grab it, and too much friction.
Battery doesn't seem as good. My note 10+ even now seems to last longer. I understand 5g and all that, but this is 3rd or 4th gen 5g phone.
Note10+ was still running just as smooth as the day I got it, which is a testament to Samys software improvements.
Should have gone for the 1tb model.
Cameras are better.
It's a bit heavier.
Buttons are still too high up the phone.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2022Cpu Seems throttle much worse than s22+ model with copper h... moreI have no issues with mine , with back cover can be changed with double Chambers copper cooling. It's available at $50, in carbon fibre and titanium is more expensive.
Don't rely on cheap free from manufacturers, you need too upgrade it.

Cpu Seems throttle much worse than s22+ model with copper heat pipe although all these exynos models are due a massive update from Samsung that been confirmed which should sort out battery life and other issues

I've already taken a look at the S22 series a few days ago, but today I decided to have another go at them in a different store to see if the lens quality issue is widespread. Turns out.. it definitely is. S22 and S22+ have absolutely horrible edge sharpness, and while S22U was slightly better, it's still poor compared to last year's S21U.
S22 series is now officially removed from my wishlist.. I'm patiently waiting for Find X5 series or Xiaomi 12 (hopefully Ultra) to come to where I live.

I don't rely on cheap free junk updates by Samsung
I pay for security and vpn £70 a year for top class security.

This phone has 3 mode options for cpu gpu
Extreme with very fast processing
Turbo is fast
Optimised as normal
Tried the Extreme, and the phone gets really hot but no throttling. Games reach 70. To 80fps. Apps and Internet loads super fast zippy like Intel i7.

At the same time last year, Samsung also said the reception for S21 was very good but in the end they still sold less units than previous years.

IN MOST REVIWES Galaxy S22 Ultra showed a mediocre score for a flagship with a 5,000mAh battery: slightly north of 13 hours, worse than the S21 Ultra of last year and about on par with Google's Pixel 6 Pro. how come it excels here?
