Sadly its community isn't as strong as Xiaomi or OnePlus. Some people who prefers just using phone wouldn't care when the update ends. Custom roms isn't cup of tea for everybody.

Please make a comparison with the GT 2 (A battery comparison would be interesting). I think you get more for your money with the normal GT 2.

Realme is pushing away it's "DNA". Just another expensive phone...meh. Where is the SD card slot, the 3.5 Jack and the balanced stereo? I use them all the time. I use my phone to listem to my music (not Spotify). These are features that i want. If i want photos for real i use my "true" Sony Camera. Why este money with a expensive brick? Games? Buy a console.

Does anybody know if the Gt2 can record slowmo in 240fps? And if yes, for how long? Thanks

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2022Near 120h and you say it is bot that good? 13 hours of web browsing, which most people use their phone for the most, isn't impressive. And yes, the high res screen plays a big part.

only thing keeping me about buying this phone instead of a oneplus is the posibility of unlocking the bootloader, i use my phones for like 5 years (still rocking LG G7 with an android 12 rom) and once software support dies and the bootloader is locked the device is dead too

I think the display being well under the advertised peak brightness is really bad form. I've noticed that BBK's phones always have blueish whites. Cranking up the colour temperature to warm on my Nord 2 does very little. The display on my A52 5G is far superior with colours and auto-brightness.

The battery life is decent but not impressive, given the 5,000mAh battery. I suspect that's to do with SD's chip though. The poor selfie camera is also disappointing for a flagship.

When the price isn't amazing, one starts to wonder what the appeal is when compared to phones mentioned like the S21 FE, especially when in Australia, an imported Realme phone is unlikely to support VoLTE. The price of the 9 Pro+ was okay, but not like previous generations of Realme phones. Perhaps Realme's best days are behind it.
