Yeah, same here. My Mi Max 3's battery is on its last leg, but the Note 5G Pro is unappealing. Especially at that price. I'm waiting for the K50 launch, then it will be either K50, Galaxys A52s, or K40 in its Poco incarnation.

I hope this is just a pandemic-caused stumble, and I'll be able to buy and recommend Redmi Notes again in the future. Not this year.

purchased the Redmi 11 just a week ago. it is possibly the worst phone I used. I understand that it's just $170 but still, the camera performance is so bad. washed out colors, terrible dynamic range, too much noise, and low light is anything but barely usable. they even remove 1080 60fps, like wtf!?
at least there's GCam and the quality is substantially better on all fronts

Realme phone with same cpu could sustain near 100% of performance.
            Xiaomi just 75.

              Who said Samsung is greedy?
Come see ur so-called midrange king 😁😁

Before someone here demands mediatek D900 or 1200 instead of 695, all them lack mmWave that is also used in China.
SoC is much more than geekbench and antutu.

I'm a Redmi fan since 2017. A lot has changed since then. Model overflow (in the same brand, not to mention Poco and Mi sub brands) and no clear big difference between them, MIUI is buggier than ever, price hikes...
Sorry Redmi, until you get a grip, this is goodbye from me.

                    What about proximity sensor?

350$ phone and still no real AoD... again with that useless 10 seconds display...
