There's no difference in moire patterns or how intricate textures are rendered, whereas on 12 Pro, which actually shoots in 50MP in 50MP mode, you can clearly see one.

VAT is the relevant tax here. In most EU countries it is very similar and close to 20%. In Germany it is 19% and Spain it is 21%, yet in Spain the phone costs 800 euro for 128gb, whilst it is 850 euro for 128gb in Germany. Taxes don't explain this. If you take the example of Spain and Germany too for the Realme GT2 pro. It's official retail price is 750 euro in both countries i.e. the same price (although it is currently on flash sale in Spain for 650 euro).

Take from that what you will. Anyway, if the root cause of the low battery scores isn't in the software, the 12x is shaping up to be quite a good phone. Definitely the pick of the bunch so far.

Once again sneaky pricing by Xiaomi. In the launch they quoted the lowest price in the cheapest market whilst not mentioning specific markets. However, the actual price is different and much higher in some European countries. When gsmarena quotes prices they should mention which countries they are referring to. In Germany for example the price on Xiaomi's website is 850 euro for the 128gb version. That is quite a lot. Priced 100 euro more than the Realme gt2 pro for example. Apart from the problems with making phone calls and uncompetitive pricing it seems like a fairly good product. It's nice that they now have a more medium sized phone

Take note that the Pro version uses the newest IMX707 sensor while the nonpro uses an older IMX766 sensor that's 2 years old.

not worth the price.. very bad battery life and too high price in west.. might aswell buy a pixel 6 with clean android ui.

Idea of quadbayer is real time HDR and no need to stack frames.
But none does it in the end.

50MP images look horrible, what's the 50MP sensors good for? Why don't they use a native 20-24MP camera sensor.

And there we have it, more proof that flagship SoC plus Samsung new lithography equals bad battery life. I'm so glad I got a S20 FE 5G while they still had them. Paid under $500, new in box with the AKG headphones and charging block.
This phone makes my 6T feel absolutely sluggish, and whips it in battery. No overheating, and excellent battery. It's practically guaranteed that I'll get double digit screen on times, even on heavy use days. Longest life has been 14+ hours SOT from 100% to 10%.

However, given the Pro also has poor speakers, I doubt the X will be the better of the three in that regard. Overall, the 12 series seems disappointing.
The Dimensity 920 and 1200 offer great performance and battery life, without overheating issues, for less money. Gcam works fine with MediaTek chips. Qualcomm's best days have passed.

Camera is no great, but no terrible either. Bad lens. Main camera of Nova 9 is still holding the crown.

macro lenses are for mid-rangers! one and only flagship on the market without a telephoto camera and it costs as much as a samsung s22 or a sony xperia 5 iii. it won't stand a chance in the competition.

Though I agree, lack of telephoto or periscope is stupid in this price range, but the main camera is the most relevant anyway.
