A clean Aosp is running faster than any MIUI, OneUI and so on. It's like getting a new life to the smartphones, and considering how powerful is the hardware nowadays, 5 years really should not be a problem now.

          In two years many apps will be over 100MB in size, etc. One second waiting time today could be 3 seconds in a year etc. Soon you'll find yourself waiting 10 seconds. That's annoying.

            Would the Poco M4 Pro better in the front & rear cameras (colours, stabilization, HDR, low noise, night shots) than a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G or A53 5G?

                      3.5mm jack, FM Radio, NFC, IR blaster, microSD slot. Very, very good. What is stupidly left out in 1000+ euros phones

                            Nice! amoled etc. Missing 4k video is a bit sad but that’s the price you have to pay I guess for “budget” device.

                              While listing, speaker balanced?

                                It's nice to see this combination of features:
                                Headphone jack
                                Memory card slot
                                Oled screen
                                Big battery and fast charging

                                Just missing a faster chipset. 580/1750 geekbench points is not going to power future apps for very long.

                                    It's interesting to see OmniVision producing decent camera sensors. Historically, their sensors were rubbish. In this phone, the sensor out-performs the Samsung sensor in the Redmi Note 11, and I suspect it's cheaper, too.

                                    I'm all for OEMs going with cheaper options like OmniVision and MediaTek, assuming they're decent. The G96 isn't a great choice, as others have mentioned. The Dimensity chips are where things are at now.

                                      Best phone in this price range, with great cameras and 90hz amoled display. (Even Realme 8 lacks tow Important features; 90Hz refresh rate and stereo speaker)
