Oppo find X5 pro is the phone of the Year.... 12gb of ram, very futuristic,, lovely design, vibrant colours and camera, lovely display, customization, it still got an Anti- peeping security, lots more....what more can you ask for.....s22 ultra is just a Mess.....the exynos version is even the WORST 🤦

X2 has tearing at 60fps. However, wide angle only works at 30. GPS is also a bit unstable.

I have no plans on buying an Oppo phone though, they don't exist in the U.S and are way too expensive to import. I've been feeling like I own an Oppo phone with how bad OnePlus has dropped the ball on software support

Tom , 26 Apr 2022You get 3 year of android and 4 years of security with Oppo.I don't know about Oppo's current update schedule, but their older flagships seemed to never get updates although this might just be an incorrect judgement of mine. Now the only thing making me not want an Oppo phone is ColorOS lol

$1199 in my country is so freaking high for BBK, even they give $399 freebies and we didn't see any dxomark camera scores on their flagship (Their vanilla is scored same as Xiaomi 12)
2x telephoto same as Crapple in 2016 OMFG, I'll wait for Magic 4 Ultimate or Xiaomi 12 ultra

SOMAYU, 18 Apr 2022Point taken on the optimization of the new MediaTek SoC... moreI share the feeling and was 'kinda' reassured when I read the Note 11S review (With Helio G96 at the helm) that took, with nearly the same hardware as other Note 11 (With Snapdragon), better pictures and less grain, so perhaps a better tuning/understanding from the respectives teams ?
They will push S8G1+ since the performance of the S8G1 isn't the best, they aren't so much happy @ QC and that's why they lefted / 'fired' Samsung Foundries (As other companies like AMD for example) dur to poor yield and yet, they will use GAA for 3nm when TSMC will use GAAFET directly when Samsung is planning using it for 2nm. On papers the results seems promising (+35% general power / -50% power consumption over the current 4nm - Exynos 2200, not S8G1 that use a FinFET design if I remember correctly), but the Exynos 2200 sounded promising too, the Tensor too ... And see even how Google have hard times with the Pixel 6 (Pro). We'll see in september/october then, not a great moment to change, specially with price hike.
And to reply to another asking for the S22U @ 850EUR : It was from the pre order bonuses, was samsung members over 5y (everyone had a code in the region apparently) and had a 30% coupon available for the order, + if 'donated' another cellphone (just IMEI needed, not functionnal at all) > Bonus of 150. And they trowed in a Buds Pro pair that I resold, I must have 'really' paid around 830-850, which is a crazy good deal for a 512 (considering the 'competition' and what they offering), even if it's a Exynos 2200 and with the lack of MicroSD. Or course, I might be a little biased towards Samsung since I had a Note9 and Note10+ just before (And yet, skipped S20 & S21 since it felt ... 'off' or more and more downgrade, kinda). Nonetheless, it was announced for the 25 february and got it 'only' on the 18 March, since they prefered to sell a lot of 128 and 256 when the memory shortage was at his highest (and could be worse in the future; with all the price hikes associated)

And still I would never ever buy a... moreThat's so true, they flood the market but miss an essential thing : At theses prices, the renew cycle will be longer, hence longuer support 'needed'. And Samsung (And somes others) are in better directions, even Motorola offer 'only' 3 years of updates total with 2 (Or is it pushed to 3 too since the lash out on Twitter ? :D) OS update. Better than nothing, we'll see the support from Lenovo ...

If you are into Bird watching, buy a real camera with a long zoom.

I'm not sure where you're getting your statistics from, but I don't think those who want their phone to stay up to date are in the minority

Price is crazy high for a phone that is measurably worse than the S22 Ultra in all areas apart from charging speed and marginally on processing power.
"The S22 Ultra is easily the more complete package, but we'd argue the Find wins for personality."
