Hello friends I want to ask you a question. I have had a bv 8800 for a month and I have a problem with the discharge of a battery with the screen off and at rest it spends 4% per hour. the phone at rest in my life to last a day the curious thing is that if I use it it lasts what the manufacturer says, for example 12 hours of video or also 12 hours of navigation with the screen on. I already had more than 100 emails exchanged with the guarantee but they don't care once they sell it it doesn't solve any problem. This battery is very large, it should last one or two weeks at rest, but it does not even last a day at home. I want to know if something similar happened to someone or if they can give me a possible solution. all background tasks were killed apparently it would not be a common problem. Thank you

Blackview customer service or support is non-existent. So hope you have no issues.
BV9800s suffer from faulty wireless charging boards after a short period of time. What about the BV8800?

It states Helio g96 but I only see the 8800 and 8800 pro being made with domensity700, are benchmarks accurate with dimensity 700 and it is typo saying g96 or is there different versions besides baseline 8800 and 8800 pro where a g96 I'd also used?

Well, I would agree with pros and cons found on this test, as well as some comments from observers and site visitors, but, me as Blackview user for last 5 years, I would say that this is, for the money asked for it, really good phone. Reason for that opinion is that after 5 years of using BV 8000 Pro I can say that in average it is good phone. Not great, there is no ideal phone as well there is no user that will use whole capacity of one mobile phone, in any sense. This is not my first phone, but it is first roughed one and for sure it will not be the last one. As soon as my finance allow me, will get another roughed one, and there is a good chance that it can be a Blackview phone.

If testing roughness of this kind of phones, involve highway test. You will ask, what is that?? Place a phone on very frequent highway and leave it there for a 15 mins....Mine BV 8000 PRO survived, even though in front of my eyes 18-wheeler runn over it, it still works and it is fairly readable....

Are they really think the cameras are good?
Once you zoom in, you can clearly see the processing did just awful jobs...

rugged phones meant to be budget friendy for bulk enterprise purchases. samsung's rugged flagships were just overkill. this is a very solid device just made for its purpose. hope it will be more avaliable worldwide. zebra,cat and econ are a bit pricey in the market. only drawback seems to be the speaker to be used for handsfree calls in noisy working environment.

Oh look, another generic oversized rugged brick that won't fit into your pocket. Meanwhile Cubot KingKong Mini2 is still being sold well despite being year and a half old, because guess what, people don't want to carry a phone in a separate bag.
But never mind me, go ahead and release another hundred phablets like this, maybe bum bags will become cool again.

Micro sd card and 3.5 jack are two most essential elements for a rugged phone and this is not apple. Maybe they wanted to be stupid like apple...

Uhm, cannot believe you consider a 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot important on a rugged phone, and in 2022! Both will make the phone harder to make watertight and dust proof and are both technically obsolete. Most people using Bluetooth headsets today and capacity wise, people store content on the cloud now and stream/browse, from Google Photos to Spotify.

Any pho... moreI had the UMIDIGI Bison 2021 and I can truly say that these types of mobile phones are the most awesome devices can be engineered. It fall down and got hitter with concrete rock and metal, the frame and front glass/screen was templed and without details neither scratch or screen burned lines/panel
Why for do you want a plus 300$ and beyond if at minimum water sand ground and fall/pressure it breaks or malfunction? Worse and dumb they discharge from 100% at 8 hours of function?
Don't care speed of charge because I CHARGE while I'M SLEEPING, the rest 18 hours I need the Device screen on and running PERIOD!

The notch is there because notched panels are made more these days, and finding a cheap display with the right specs would have had a notch.
