Not only the M53's specs are worse than M52, the design also looks kinda cheap

Xiaomi 33w won't fast charge samsung
Chargers are important and if you want to save environment then get rid of the box, no one needs that

And when they are gone, I'm going to buy two or three new chargers, which would last me for a decade again, instead of getting a new one with every new phone. The same with cheap and useless headphones. I would not even need a charging cable, since I have many of them at home (and of better quality than manufacturers usually supply with phones).

JarofJam, 30 Jun 2022You are extremely right, we need more people like you to co... moreWell using logic, having to buy a separate charger in a seperate box that's been shipped around the world it would indicate its actually worse for the environment doing it this way (specially when the boxes are still big enough for Gallium Nitride Charger to fit in) they do it because they want more money for less and it makes them look good not shipping the extra stuff, it makes it worse for the consumer though and increases OUR fuel emissions and extra plastic to increase pollution.

i think there a lot of repetition in Samsung models But No radio is no go for me.kindly make one like M51 with new update that are not in it

Looking at this phone, which was made just to keep a one-year scheme of introducing new models, it seems to me that a two-year cycle would be much better... Just like in the ancient times of mobile phones.

I guess smartphone market has been boring for quite some time. Most exitement we can get is when somebody launches an Android phone that's smaller than TV but that doesn't happen very often...

come on samsung, why are you omitting the brick?? this is stupid and greedy. also this should have headphones bundled in or else buying a 3rd party accessory can break easily if everyone buys a cheap one

A very good review. Thank you for calling out stuff like how the previous models are simply better than this year's model. This galaxy is definitely something I won't recommend to anyone regardless of the software support (Which anyways is always meh worthy on Android phones. Lots of reports of how software updates cause software and hardware issues, even the S20 series had display issues after updates)
Smartphones should be getting better each year but in Samsung's case, each consecutive year they try and see how much less they can offer for good money.

Nope. Hard disagree. The 3.5mm Headphone Jack isn't a "legacy" form of connectivity... That's what Apple and Samsung would want you to believe and that's what they're pushing hard to become a reality. Please stop accepting this. There's not even stereo speakers in the phone smh
A mid range phone should be a practical phone. Not a phone for which you need to make additional purchases (usb-c to 3.5mm dongle, charging brick etc)
A person with money to burn on those accesories would anyways buy a higher end phone. The target demographic for the midrange and the budget phone are people who can only spend so much...
The priorities of Samsung are so far out from the actual ground reality... Do people even buy stuff without a charging brick in box and without a 3.5mm jack? Please tell me these units are flopping so Samsung learns the hard way. The recent report that they had a lot of stock just sitting was honestly good news so that they realise that they can't just keep removing stuff from the phone and sell you that.
Samsung has historically always given much weaker hardware in comparison to the competition and then they take out stuff from the purchase to sell you separately. It's greedy, it's anti-consumer and frankly, I wish they have a hard fall so they learn that this is a mistake
