Anders, 28 Jul 2022I am thinking. You're not. What you're doing is a... moreI'll give you HTC's phones before they sold that division to Google, but during the early Android period their phones were pretty good. The first Pixel was developed in collaboration with them.

Nokia is more interesting, since their phones were held back by the woeful lack of apps on Windows Phone. Design-wise, they were great. Amazing cameras for the time as well. To say their phones were "awful" is ignorant. Microsoft squandered the OS and they died.

I can't speak to ASUS' sales numbers but both they and Apple see a market for smaller phones somewhere. I doubt it'll sell gangbusters, but they must be looking at data I don't. Also, too small? Do you have gorilla hands?

            Look at HTC or before that Nokia. They kept making awful phone's that no one wanted. But they kept doing it anyway even though the sales clearly weren't "good enough". They were so bad for Nokia they just gave up and sold the naming rights to hmd.

              I'm looking for a compact and dual front facing speakers phone.
              Why Asus couldn't make the speakers like in ROG phones.
              Now I need to wait for more suggestions of new phones .

                So...it is basically Xiaomi 12x with high performance mod.
                Thay could have slapped SD870 inside and call it a day.

                          Almost perfect. The only meh is the plastic back.

                            So tiny, maybe to make sure no one sees and tries to steal it?

                              Too small
                              Only 1080p display
                              Only 16 million colour display
                              No micro SD
                              Disappointing camera set-up (no zoom/tele lens)
                              Too thick for how small the battery
                              Chunky bezels you'd expect on a budget phone
                              Plastic back
                              Only 30W charging when many competitors are offering 80W
                              And way too expensive at €800

                              This is DOA. The sales figures will be awful

More like 2017, on phones with f**ked batteries where only thing Apple was guilty of was not communicating the thing to users. You don't know when it happened and not why or how. Why are you mentioning this again?
