Iphone SE3 = 1/2.55"
SE 3 loses to 13, like 13 loses to 13 Pro.

It my have the upper hand on camera against competition. But overheats a lot courtesy of Tensor chip, UI with standard refresh rate looks sluggish. So it´s compact, great camera, and excellent OS support.
You have the Moto Edge 30, lighter, great SD778+, fast charger 33W (included), for less than this. I don´t know why GSM Arena haven´t reviewed this phone yet, one of the best for me. And has close to stock android too

rizki1, 08 Aug 2022Android smartphone from US not suprised... just enjoy this ... moreWell, ruzki, I am sure you have great Chinese options, enjoy. I chose to go with the P6P after a stint with Xiaomi, and can't be happier. The camera is the most important feature for me and after testing the Mi 11 Ultra and the Samsung S22 Ultra, I decided that for me the P6P is the best, despite its average battery life.

Despite b... moreThats the point, not just display resolution, but soc also can lead to good battery life, also software optimisation, Oem who kill background process tend to have better standby compare to those who allow it, there in undervolt of cpu, some other kernel optimizations, choosing hardware which consume low power like newer ram and other controller etc.

Do you really... moreI don’t know how much this is true or not but I want to add that the easiest way to verify this is by comparing an iPhone SE 2022 with iPhone 13 camera. Same processing, both high end sensors but 4 years older on the SE.

What changes DOP is the lens not sensor.
Set f8 on 24mm FF lens and there will be zero blur.
Set f1.8 and background is completely different.

Despite being almost as strong as 845.
But too many downsides. Compared to 690, it loses support for HDR screen, the usb C 3.X, 4K video and internet speed is slower (download or upload)

Over here the pixel 6 is 500€ the pixel 6a is 470€ -> getting the pixel 6 instead of the pixel 6a is a no brainer.
The pixel 6a misses: wireless charging, gorilla glass victus, 90hz, etc. and still is only 30€ less than the pixel 6 right now.
Google did mess up their prices this time. The pixel6 was either priced too low or the 6a is priced too high. I'd vote for the latter. Maybe google forgot to pull the plug on the pixel 6 early.
The pixel 6a barely outshines a 400€ Nord2 or Poco F4 at a pricepoint this high! Sure, if you are all in for camera and vanilla android, sure go for the 6a, but better buy into the pixel 6!
Downsides of the pixel 6a are: slow fingerprint reader, very slow 60hz (even slower than iphones 60hz).

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2022Not buying a 60Hz phone in current year. What is this even?Yeah, high time for 60 Hz panels to go away. It's a vicious plague that has been here for too long already, high refresh rates are the cure. :) Current technologies allow good battery life with fast refresh rate settings.

Wow, the samples are uncharacteristically noisy. All shadow areas seems to have digital noise. Google's noise reduction was always moderate, but this is way over the top.
I thought it was just a 6a issue, but the exact same noise is also present in the 6 pro samples. So either there was an update to both devices that ruined the camera processing or the author played with 'dual exposure' feature and pushed the shadows way over the top. The "though some may argue that that shadows should be left darker for the image to look more realistic (an opinion we don't really share)." sentence make me think it is the later, but it is also google, so who knows.

Received mine on released day.
My feelings are... it's ok.
The touchscreen has some (many) problems responding to touches. This is BY FAR the biggest issue. I can confirm it's not a hardware problemb so I hope this will be addressed later.
Other annoyances (unordered) are it gets warm (never uncomfortable but if still bothers me because I know what that's doing to the battery), battery life could be better (however, that's purely due to my previous phone which had incredible battery life, but shite perf & quality & software support)... and that's all the ungood.
Build quality is quite nice, cams are good, perf is quick, and the screen is much better than I expected (refresh rates don't bug me since, unless I'm plugged in, I'm far more concerned with the battery).
... actually, it's pretty good 👍
