Motorola also known for making promise of longer software support and then went back on their own promise a few months later.

Jacek, 09 Sep 2022One Android upgrade? Like 13 and that's it? Outrageous...Very unbelievable, but yes it's true. The last phone to come with 2 android upgrades is the Moto Edge+ from 2020.

My partner has an iPhone 13 and it's not better than my Oppo Find X5, also they don't have telephoto (unless you go pro/Pro max). My Huawei p40 pro wiped the floor with the iPhone 12 and 13 (paid 400 for it last year and now you can get them for around 250-300 so about half of the iPhones).

Oh and never releasing face unlock while having a slow fingerprint reader (I had the phone for 6 months and now I don't because of the poor software and hardware).

Great phone if they get the pricing right, about 450-550 and it would be in serious contention for one of the best mid priced phones (sorry but it's not a mid ranger with a snapdragon 888 in it, worst case it's a flagship killer).
144hz is a bit pointless unless it's a proper gaming phone (really don't see a point over 120hz for just Web browsing and fluidity on home screen), also 8k recording is still pointless on a phone too and not having a telephoto is a bit disappointing and Web browsing and video endurance is OK but rest of the device is on point, got to hand it to Motorola making a seriously competitive device (if around that price point, easily give the S21 FE a run for its money).

I'd go back to faux leather on a phone it does feel great if they get it right 😊

There is no such thing as "vegan leather" it's just plastic. Stop using companies marketing terms.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2022- way bigger and heavier - LCD - the opposite of clean A... morehonestly interested in this phone although worried about software updates support,and i know for a fact that it won't have good custom rom support(my last two phones were op3 and k20pro both had great support),otherwise phone does look nice,i have 1 month before i make a decision i guess,but this feels better than nothing phone 1,though feels like ultrawide will be a useless sensor again

It also has Widevine L1. The thing that just needs to happen is for Netflix to flip a switch, metaphorically, on their end to feed it HDR. That happens frequently post reviews since we deal with early pre-release units. Hope that clears it up.
