Your first comment was about bigger importance of outer display instead of the inner one. Of course, since Xiaomi's inner display significantly lowered its battery life. So, again, if the outer one is so important, there's no need for a foldable device. But you can't accept that, because then you would have to admit another Xiaomi fail.

They are still overpriced and don't raelly offer much over having two devices. And they cannot even compare to laptops.

foldable is not just having bigger display, but also can be used like laptop half folded.
in this case xiaomi and the rest are loosing to Samsung.
Fold series hinge can maintain 90 to 180 degrees folded screen and also the software are better developed.
but if you only want bigger screen flat open xiaomi is better even though the software maybe not as good as samsung.

Gsmarena put up a correct statement "The Mix Fold 2 is the perfect device for streaming, at least on paper" and the battery is poor compare to Fold4 which has 14hrs web and 14:25hrs video.

True to its Chinese name, the photo video situation is really a mess- Even a 3 year old flagship from Sony, LG, Samsung can easily outdo it in real life. Even Samsung S10 will do a great job.
When will Mi take camera firmwares seriously?
Take this- You have 3 cameras, but only 1 supports 8k24, but hey 8k detail is bad, so ignore it, even if you have a 8k TV. Now, 4K is supported by two cameras, but only one gives a good output that too in 30fps not 60, but which one, you'll have to check review and memorise. Tele camera does a good job at details, just because hey its tele. Selfie camera reaches an astounding 1080p@30fps... What is this, a circus?
Seriously, I'm blessed to have owned a LG G8x, which I still have.. God, I miss LG.

Because that's what you end up using a majority of the time when you don't feel comfortable using two hands or you're not placing it on a table?
The inner display is great when you're using an app that would work better on a larger canvas (e.g. notes, e-books) or more than one app at the same time, but I wouldn't want to open it up when I'm standing on a bus/train or in an event where there are full of people around me. Also, when I want to take a photo, watch videos, quickly check up on an email or scroll through Twitter or Reddit, I can imagine myself using the outer display only. People still use these foldable tablets as a phone in their daily lives, and that's why all the manufacturers including Samsung are making the outer display larger and wider.

You're literally admitting it, you prefer photos with more sharpened edges. I prefer natural-looking details, especially during the day.

In terms of details, Mix and Galaxy are comparable, though on Mix if you want more sharpening you can always opt for Leica Vibrant mode instead of Authentic.

What about the Samsung's lack of warranty coverage on both scenarios?
What about aleatory reboots, GPS failures & Samsung Pay issues on Fold 3?
What about heavy battery drain issues on Samsung's Fold 3?

Camera performance is as poor as Xiaomi always is. I would like to see the "sharpness", since all daylight photos are too soft. A reasonable amount of detail, but nothing excellent. But it is Leica, which is also overpriced average.

Galaxy Fold 4 lasts longer when you use the inner display, but Mix Fold 2's battery score is actually higher for the cover display. I wouldn't say Mix has poor battery life.
The camera during the day looks phenomenal on Leica Authentic mode with very natural details and excellent lens sharpness, which is definitely rare on a foldable tablet like this. The night mode could've been better, of course - probably a few software updates will improve it.
The performance seems to be hit by the thin form factor the most as GPU heats up hard during the test, causing it to be force closed entirely. This is one area where Xiaomi should put a lot more effort into next year.

Just want to remind everyone that both the Z Fold 4 and Mix Fold 2 are not rated for dust protection. Sure, the samsung have waterproof rating, but water is something a user can avoid, can't say the same for dust, whether it be inside pockets or a handbag.
