My phone still works well, but the battery is now shit.

I really liked the battery life of iPhone X though.

      Anything above a 4 Star rating is too high for non-Pro iPhones in 2022. It's just way too expensive and poorly specced.

          I'm not seeing any photo quality improvement from the iPhone 14. If anything, it has a much worse oversharpening effect than the iPhone 13. I'd rather take a used iPhone 13 instead of a brand new iPhone 14.

Because changes between iPhone 12 and 13 were so grand? Or between 11 and 12? And between X and 11? There were bunch of models that never had massive changes. How is that a problem? No one forces you to buy new model every year. But for someone still with iPhone X, iPhone 14 is a big upgrade. let alone for people who maybe still have 8 or 7...

              The upgrade from iPhone 13 to 14 is too minor, even someone like me who is always interested in each year's vanilla iPhone feel nothing from the 14.

                I have tested the digital zoom in a store (compared it with a different phone). The digital zoom is quite bad: Oversharpened and with extreme artifacts. So, possibly, the digital zoom of the iPhone 13 or a crop from an iPhone 14 1x photo are simply even worse. So, if the 14 outperforms the digital zoom of the 13, this doesn't mean that it performs well.

My old iPhone X is still serving a friend I gave it to who seems satisfied with it and has not bought a new phone to replace it. The iPhone 13 Pro Max lasts twice as long as the Android flagships. So, yeah, Apple has good battery management. It's why most people like Apple, to the chagrin of rabid fanboys and trolls.

I've been a diehard android user for 8 years and after finally giving iPhones a try, I must say that these days, they have excellent battery life. My 3 year old iPhone 11 with the original battery regularly lasts 13-15 hours with regular use while only dropping to around 70%-50%. No LG, Samsung, or OnePlus I've EVER used as a main device have ever lasted that long.

                              At least at camera results comparisons by Arena's tests, Xperia 5IV simply k.o. this crap... Lame devices...

                                    The batteries in iPhones last really long. I have iPhone 8 with original battery for four years and the degradation is almost nonexistent. It would last at least two more years
