Xiaomi mi 10 was the best budget flagship from xiaomi

Xiaomi 11 series upgrade that but thx to 888 and bad miui 12 software, the experience is a letdown with overheating and died wifi / board

Xiaomi 12 series again but as other brand and competitor deliver better heat management system and cooling hardware than mi 12 series, the mi 12 series is a letdown now compared to mi 11

hopefully they fix all the issue in 13 pro series, the 12 series is a joke compared to other same level chinese brand for price ,cost and performance

sohail shafayat, 01 Oct 2022Around 4hrs4hrs of playing mobile games? Wow thats great! My s21 fe cant even reach 3hrs, my galaxy a73 is better at 5hrs at best from 100 to 10%. But my 1.5yrs old poco f3 can still do 5-6hrs gaming

Xiaomi 12x is the best phone I ever had, hardware-wise*.
It's also the last Xiaomi I will ever buy, due to bugs and Xiaomi's refusal to address them.

Regarding the accidental touch bug, it's actually a bit more subtle than described - the system just ignores whatever setting on boot and you have to toggle it on every restart.
But the most frustrating bug (for my use) is that wireless Android Auto disconnects on every cell change (btw - both bugs were not present with Android 11, the initial version of the 12x)

I guess it's either Pixel or iPhone for a minimal level of support :-(

          * with the exception of the virtual proximity sensor

Enerst, 02 Oct 2022My Xiaomi mi 11 is fine... No overheating what so ever. Gue... moreThere is a design problem with the series where the wifi and motherboard get too hot and can suddenly burn out. The store staff in a few Xiaomi Home stores in China explained this to me and I checked it online. It is a problem that Xiaomi officially recognised in China and to compensate for it they offered replacement devices rather than just replacing the motherboard if it happens to your phone within the warranty period (they also offered an extra 6 month warranty (18 instead of 12 if you register when purchasing the device) . In one Xiaomi home store the two staff told me it happened to both of their phones within about 6-8 months (one had a Xiaomi 11 and the other an 11 pro). They explained that their phones were working fine and then suddenly with no warning they couldn't connect to wifi. Of course, this won't happen all phones but there is a design flaw in the 11 series that creates a risk of it happening. I guess the risk will be higher for heavy gamers

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2022xiaomi software bug biggest problemwait for miui 14

Coming from a Mi 10T owner, it's a shame Xiaomi STILL won't get its software right. There's too many missing features from Stock Android (Material You theming, Notification history, a "control center" that actually makes sense, a background apps management "algorithm" that won't stop your Spotify session after a few minutes in the bag). It's as if you're forced to unlock the bootloader (which Xiaomi absurdly makes you wait 7 to 30 CALENDAR DAYS for) and shoehorn Pixel Experience ROM or ArrowOS ROM to unlock the full potential of the hardware. Ntm the PERSISTENT issues with hardware quality (Mi 10T, 11, and 11T Pro all have auto-bootlooping and deadbooting issues).

If absolutely nothing else, that's what Samsung and Apple have done a very good job at (in terms of the S Pen functionality and camera performance, respectively).

It's my first Xiaomi phone and was one of my biggest fears before buying, but it turns out that nowadays is just a myth. Maybe it applies for CN version, idk.

As a long time Xiaomi fanboy I don't see why you would get this, for the same price you can get something like a Galaxy S21 FE which is water resistant, probably has better software support, its lighter and has a proper telephoto

I 6 years ago I had a "Note 5 Sport Active Edition" (with IP68 protection) and the screen went black after 6 months of use...tech service told me that earlier you submerged your phone in a pool and in that case the warranty time is only 6 months...I lost my money!!!!! SINCE THEN NEVER BOUGHT A SAMSUING PHONE!!!!!!!

Ive had the 12 pro for about 3 months now, at first I wanted to but the iqoo 9 pro or the iphone 13 pro. But I settled with this. Pros The screen is amazing, speakers are decent, screen plenty bright, 120hz ltpo display at 2k, good main camera. Cons Chinese rom had issue with heating then changed to eu rom, frequency bands are poor I have put on airplane mode to get 5g services, battery life is poor when using maps and some background activity only lasted like 4hrs.

Don't waste your money on Xiaomi phones. because hardware is not everything. Without good software you suffer in day to day use. I have Xiaomi 11t pro and since miui 13 update i am facing hdr video issue (6-7 months). Still no fix yet
