on the Xiaomi site he writes a 10 bit + 2 screen so it is not a native 12 bit but only a 10 bit but with FRC (technology to make the eye believe that there are more colors)

Anonymous, 04 Oct 2022The standby and talk time make the endurance look better th... moreThey should change their battery testing methodology, too many phone score good scores but in real usage their are fine at best, and too many phones fall of a cliff due to weaker standby while in real world usage they are easily a 2 day heavy usage phone.
Looking at the endurance number just gives off a totally wrong picture of most phones, that is the big issue here.

The standby and talk time make the endurance look better than it is, the real usage time is meh.
The performance is at least solid.

In Malaysia for example, the 12T Pro 8/256 is 588 euro and 12T 8/256 is 435 euro. There are 2 years warranty and 1 time free screen replacement. Early bird gift is Redmi Buds 3 Pro for the 12T, Mi Watch for the 12T Pro. Like I said, Xiaomi is focussing heavily on ASEAN countries.

How did Xiaomi manage to extract so little battery life from the 5000mah pack and D8100 combo? The subpar battery scores were understandable with the 8 gen 1 vanilla but with the newer chips, you'd think they would do better on the battery front.
The battery score on the 12T pro is even worse somehow than the other 8+gen1 phones reviewed so far, despite most of them having smaller battery packs. Very weird.
