        Well a select few is the answer, at least according to you that is: 'but for some reason decide to keep their userbase to a few select people'

        Which makes no sense whatsoever why a company like Xiaomi would launch themselves onto the global market, release as many smartphone models as they can, as often as they can (and boy do they), then purposefully limit their userbase to a 'select few'.

        These are the levels of logic we are dealing with though when talking to you though, none whatsoever.

                  You can fool people once with marketing, not to get people buy same brand over and over again, that comes from great products and very happy customers.

                  Android OEMs don't know how to keep their users happy, that's why Android users keep jumping to next OEM just to find out it wasn't any better, that doesn't change until they switch to iPhone, where they finally tend to stay.

Realme and Xiaomi allocate smaller budgets, that's all. They still have the better phones, they just don't know how to actually market them to the masses. Phones for enthusiasts tend to be of better quality in general. Their brands know their potential to reach the masses but for some reason decide to keep their userbase to a few select people

                          Yet if somebody counters with their own, suddenly you are mentioning the need for evidence 'There's no evidence Apple does it better'. Evidence of what? better at what and how??

                          Seems to me you have made up your mind, all well and good, but should others feel differently, all of a sudden you need them to justify why this is the case.

                          Ultimately dude, there is no 'better', there is only user preference, yours is for something like a Xiaomi Android running MIUI, mine (for example) is for an iPhone running iOS. Neither of us is wrong in this, and neither should try convincing the other that they are.

                          Just don't go running around stating one is better than the other simply because you say so, and then asking for evidence to the contrary. Hypocritical that is.

                            Yes there is, sales pretty much proves it. People really like the way Apple do things and every year it shows in sales. And with 14 series there's whole lot of Android switchers, propably more than ever before.

                            iOS keeps improving every year and Apple adding features which missing from iOS. Sametime Google haven't made Android any more appealing than what it was like 5 years ago.

                            Google still haven't fixed any flaws why people prefer iOS over Android, it's still same uncontrolled fragmented mess what it always been, it's just getting worse year after year. By now it's impossible to fix, Google would need to start from the scratch to make Android appealing for iOS users who have been enjoying that very polished well thought premium experience.

Which why I like it the best of all Android customizations, except it's always been buggy as hell. iOS 16 is actually great.
