I am sure that Apple's stock will tumble now and Xiaomi's will shoot up. And Xiaomi will abandon ripping off iOS with MiUI and will hire you to head its UX team. LOL.

GSMArena, you used to include in the alternatives section of your review, how the phone compares to it's alternative, like for example ..with S22+ you get a better display but an inferior chipset, you get a telephoto, other cameras are comparable/ better/ inferior...
Dropping that kind of comparison lately is making your reviews kind of pointless, because most phones are good in isolation, I read a review to see how it stacks up against competition!!

I'd go for a new 12T Pro, however. Especially if it gets Lineage OS support down the line.

The 14 Plus is the worst buy in the iPhone lineup. Don't buy this.
Get the 13 Pro Max, brand new even cheaper below €1200. It has stainless steel build, better screen with 120Hz vs 60Hz and 1000nits vs 800nits, it has telephoto sensor and a better ultrawide sensor, lidar scanner, it does 10 bit HDR which the 14 Plus doesn't, ProRes and Cinematic Mode all things the 14 Plus doesn't do. You're paying big money and skipping on all these goodies man? 13 Pro Max is a better iPhone all around, why would anyone buy the 14 Plus? To say they have the more recent model? haha

What i will never understand of apple is how can charge 1000€ for
such a trashy phone with outdated and out of place specs for a "premium" phone,
i think is better for apple to stop this trashy marketing with "low end, top prices" models.
Because each year it becomes more ridiculous, and seeing people buying the base iphones just makes my brain blow away....
Phones you can buy for less than 1k include S22+ ( already better specced ), Pixel 7 Pro, P50 Pro, Vivo X80 ( with deals also the pro ) hugely better deal, old Xiaomi 12 Pro, or new 12S Pro.... There is a long list.
Let's see what this iphone 14 plus has to compensate the price.
-> Last gen CPU ( even if up to task ).
-> 5 or 6 gen behind cameras, and no proper tele.
-> No high refresh screen ( good damn we're talking about 1k phone!!! ).
-> No USB C and no Jack.
-> Being the low-mid end of apple.
Despite this, yea battery is one of the best, but hey cmon for less you can also
have an android with same great battery but at much less.

14 Plus has a bigger screen and a much bigger battery, so that logic does not apply.
Bigger screen means bigger battery means better battery life, that is how it works with iPhones nowdays.
Also if you checked the 13 Pro Max and the 14 Pro Max, both with more battery hungry components, they get better browsing time too.
Even the 13 Pro is getting better, dan that ones has a much smaller battery than the 14 Plus or the Pro Max models.

No, clearly something is very wrong, bigger display and bigger phones always have better life than phones with smaller display and hence smaller batteries. It's why iphone mini batteries life sucks. And so do android phones with small displays.
