It's typically used in Brandy and Cognac, and meant to signify a quality product. As opposed to "low-class" drinks like whiskey, rum, etc.
Btw, HTC did this back in 2012 with their One lineup; V, S, X.

Those square screens! Gah, no proper support from most apps and in most apps it's simply useless anyway. Anything between 4:3 and 16:10 is OK for a tablet (with 3:2 the best IMO). Any aspect ratio outside those extremes is near unusable.
I wish that foldable manufacturers stop trying to make a Mediocre tablet that also doubles as a thick phone.
It should be a great tablet that also doubles as a great phone. If not what's the point? 2in1s that are Mediocre versions of what they try to replace would never work...
To this day Xiaomi (mix Fold 1) is the only company to at least *try* to give their foldable in tablet more a usable aspect ratio. Sure mix fold 1 s@cked a$$ ... but it was a move to the right direction (which they immediately took back in mix fold 2 which is the usual square attrocity).
GREAT PHONE - GREAT TABLET! people, that's the winning combination. Any other and the foldable gimmick would remain, well ... a gimmick.

I have to commend these chinese manufacturers for trying to compete with Samsung, however, the fact remains thatvonky Samsung has water rating and so far has the best pen implementation. Without those, its hard to even consider the competition.

good to see some competition.hope they release with android L out of the box.I wonder why they started with the lesser popuplar foldable form factor.clamshell models actually are way more popular.

This looks so good... Best looking Huawei phone, nothing gets close but the Huawei Mate 30 and 40 look great as well but this is just so pleasing to look at, the colour and finish are really nice but the camera bump looks especially good. Only Samsung's Note 20 Ultra and S21 Ultra look better than this phone imo but not by much. Cheers to the design team, nailed the design at least
