The phone doesn't have a dedicated audio chip which means its processed and reencoded by android into a 16bit 48hz sound, doesn't matter which audio files you use, it will always come out to that due to the lack of a chip. In this case you would 100% be better off with tws iems on aptx or a usbc dac dongle as both would bypass reencoding.
Just admit you are out of touch with current audio tech, there is no point to a 3.5mm on a phone unless that phone went out of the way to engineer audio chips into their architecture, which most don't. If you really did care about audio quality you would have at least one audio dongle laying around...

Only LDAC on-ear headphones delivery expectable results for my expectations of soundstage.. btw, enjoy in mediocre sound "quality" for masses.

Which is weird how ultra flagships don't come with all the bells and whistles and are actually beaten by budget phones in that department.

Biggest problem of this phone is very short software support of only 2-2.5 years. Would've bought it if it was say least 4 years (just security updates would suffice).

Headphone jack is for everyone who wants ultimate audio quality and one less thing to worry about charging. Last but not least, phones with 3.5 SUPPORT Bluetooth headphones, but not vice-versa. You really aren't bright if you don't see the advantage.
