      So many sidegrades and is not good way too make new Modal of gaming smartphone

      This good smartphone but for gaming I wanted see hardware spec improvements not enough hand room less ram then least years modal screen can't do as many Hz as last year's model worse selfie camera Under screen

      Last year's modals where better designed and in some ways had better hardware

      A side by side compassion should be made

          Was excited and read the full review of this gaming smartphone

          Am disappointed by this gaming smartphone main reason is lack of improvements over Nubia own last year's modals

          Much upset as I did have high hopes for Snapdragon 8 gen 2 smartphone

          Some downgrades I really dislike seeing but at least the
          asking price saw is lower

          Screen hand room is problem for gaming it's a problem if there is not enough room too hold the phone

          The selfie camera behind the screen is just a privacy problem doe too not being able too cover the camer
          The selfie camera picture quality being worse is drawback

          The story goes 120hz screen is because under screen camera no 165hz screen available sad downgrade

          Only 16gb system ram is painful downgrade too see (last year's 18gb ram) I know it's x2 faster ram but sidegrades are not good way too improve a phone

          The uff speed storage improvements and 1tb overall storage is good but SSD upgrade is overdue for gaming phones hints look at legion y90

          The battery life improvements at least are the main meanful improvements made that I do think will benefit the user a lot

          Red magic os also is good seeing many improvements for gaming

          Anyway
          Still a amazing phone but I do hope last year's modals stay in production for Long time and get brought because there better design choices and decisions made with them

            You can shoot videos with the ultra wide camera by choosing the pro mode

            Check techtablets channel on YouTube, he point out this one

              Well done review. I want this phone in the future.

                Anonymous, 16 Jan 2023Will there be a 8s Pro? Should we wait or get the 8 Pro now??I honestly can't see how the SD 8+ Gen 2 is going to be that much bigger of a leap in performance. The thermals of the vanilla Gen 2 are under control now, which makes this phone a good buy.

                  8gen 2 better than a16.

                    Wow this looks incredible! If I was looking to buy a new phone right now, I would be very tempted to go for this. I especially love the minimal rounding on the screen corners

                                since the screen edge is very edgy (far from rounded edge), the status bar space now feels spacious because there are no curve margins, so I think it will feels like even larger phone inside the display.

                                though, the speaker is still not symmetrical, unlike BS5pro and ROG6, and it still sounds cracked :(

                                  How big is this guy?
                                  Making a 6.8" phone look like a small toy.

                                    UDFPS is fine for me, I don't like physical ones since you'll be scanning them randomly while holding the phone

                                      The design is the definition of blending in the background, damn it's bland. Looks like a cardboard phone or something
