I bought a Samsung S23+ 2 weeks ago. This is the third time I found the phone turned off. Does anyone else have this problem? From what I've heard, what I experienced also happens.

Hey but seriously. Try checking the "Ratio" thingy on top of ur screen (In camera).
IF IT DOESNT SHOW "200MP [3:4]" then congrats. You got a fake phone.

But if you start "pixel peeping," you can see the difference between the 12 and 50 pretty quickly. The 12MP is nice for posting to social media since those get hyper-compressed anyway. You will also notice a big difference in low light scenarios.

I obtained an S23 Ultra today. Just so you all know here, it's a 12 (not 200 in any way) megapixel camera. Period. It yields excellent results at 12mp, anything above that is more or less similar as enlarging the 12mp photo in photoshop and selecting a decent resize algorithm. The 50mp is also a complete hoax, and it's as good as resizing the 12mp image to 50mp. Sorry people. I'm keeping the phone because I like it, but the camera is a mess just like all phone cameras more or less.

The S10e is good (one in my house still used daily) but the S23 will give you good battery life (see review just posted) and a big improvement in performance. The cameras on the s10e were good but The S23 samples in the review just seem to be a lot better.
Think you would be happy as a Samsung user with a new shiny S23.

And while some people go for looks, most people that buy flagships look beyond the design. They go for performance, camera, battery, and feature specs. Design is not top of the priority list for buyers that know what they want.

The fact: from a not so distant view, s23+ looks scary similar with one of the cheapest phones: entry level A series. And while most flagship have good performance today, people choose by design. And Samsung disappointed this year. Said a Samsung and Apple fan

Wow, I believe with improved SD chip in all regions, this phone will be quite popular. But in terms of photo quality, this is uterly bad. These is a ton of noise present in every shot. Smeared details all over the place (no matter of 12, 50 or 200MP). I kind of expected this with a 200MP small sensor and with the history of Samsung image processing. I'm sorry to say, but Google (P7Pro), Huawei (Mate50 series), Vivo (X90 series), Xioami (13 series) are all on top in terms of photo quality. Iphone comes right after, then on the bottom there is Samsung. Maybe GCam mods could improve the overall photo quality, but with this much of an inferior photo hardware, I doubt it could do much. This is coming from a long term Samsung user (S5, S7, Note 10 Plus). I really wished Samsung would do better with 23 series so I could upgrade, but I'll go with Pixel or Vivo in the end.

Lu, 07 Feb 2023I'm a Samsung user for a decade already, but are those... moreIt's not just you. I have a Galaxy Note 9 and I've been waiting for a long time for Samsung to produce a camera that's a worthwhile upgrade over this one. The S23 Ultra photos looked quite nice on my phone screen but not so good on a full-size computer monitor.

I've a s23 and I can tell you it's very similar to an s22. The camera is not nearly as good as a pixel unfortunately. There's also a lot of bloat as you'd expect.

I'm a Samsung user for a decade already, but are those photo samples from outside (trees and buildings) absolutely tragic, worse than compared to the S7 Edge or so? Is it just me? I'm shocked.

I am S10e user, due to its compactness and powerful device for my daily tasks. (plus sd card and 3.5mm)
but have a smaller battery and lesser dual apps feature, compared to xiaomi/MIUI phone
Is it worthed buying S23 as a replacement? please do some advice about this.
Thanks in advance

I must say that I am impressed with S23 Ultra, this time they succeed to make things look and perform as they should.
I already bought it and in these two days, it was a super good experience (overall)..
***
I didn`t use Samsung for a very long time due to the chipset topic in the EU, so I can`t tell how much better it is compared to the S22 ultra.
