...did I miss anything?

with the chipset manufacturing stay unchanged at 4nm this year. i am fearing the chispset on this device is hotter, consuming battery faster than that of the s22. seeing it is a custom version of chipset specially made by the qualcom for the samsung. and the phone has a larger battery installed.

i bought every generation of S since the s6. i might be holding up on buying the s23 this year. there is no real advancement on the chipset manufacturing process yet. such a newer phone might have a shorter battery when compared with the last year’s one. the gen2. nice marketing words. there will be the 3,4,5,6 and beyond going forward. the intel had been stuck on the 14nm for some years. same thing is happening on the phone seems. i am looking forward to the detailed review of this model.

Basically is a newer design s22/s22+/s22u.
Old-new-replacement more like Samsung taking your $1000 s22 back for free and "allow" you buy another unit from them.

Guess google wouldn't come out with another 149mm length small phone then...

naturalbornflagship, 02 Feb 2023ain't nothing new.. innovation dead. camera punchhole ... morewhen people say no innovation in a phone. I will ask what are you expecting. Essentially a phone is a communication device and that's it. Although mobiles have now become pocket knives and do a load of extras. they only have a certain amount of space and to be honest, there is no app that is pushing some form of innovation. And also you and I don't make phones so it's easy to talk innovation and give no mention of what you think that is. People always want the next new thing and forget that when the iPhone came out in 2007 to mobile phones now there has actually been massive innovation. if you got innovation today with the Samsung mobile next year you would be bored and say lack of innovation. The fact this company now has a phone that folds in half is actually innovation even though that is now 4 years old and actually is a technical achievement. But I am guessing you actually don't care you just like banging your drum.

[deleted post]look, dude, if you are satisfied with 54mp main, 8mp ultrawide and 2mp macro cameras then nobody will have a problem with it. but don't troll just because you are jealous of other people who can afford to buy a 3 times more expensive phone with a 10 times better camera.

Deluded ones like yourself only focus on megapixels.

Only good thing I find this year in Galaxy S-series line up, is the uniform usage of SD8 Gen2 CPU in all 3 models...no more Exynos CPU.

[deleted post]You get what you paid for in a Chinese phone. MIUI is terrible.

Once upon a time, Oxygen OS was a good Android skin from the world of Chinese phones, but even that is no more... it got assimilated by ColorOS.
