Both devices are fine after two years of use, so what gives? This leads me to think there's something up with the chargers GSMA is using.

The Galaxy S release of each year used to be an exciting and enticing event in the tech world.
I remember dreaming of owning the latest and greatest from Samsung.
Back when the Galaxy S was an exciting and innovating device, every year.
Back then their motto was "next is now".
But this ? I can't think of anyone excited or looking forward to own this phone.
It's tasteless, even down to its colors.
With HTC and LG out of the equation, I'm guessing sammy just got lazy.
Next is definitely not now.

The one and only con mentioned - "Nothing is, in principle, really new or different."
How about the lowly 8gb ram and 8 bit display??

It is made to slow down as time goes by.

About the " empty" CONS list ......
1) Interesting the site complains 23/23+ lack Dolby Vision, but zero words now about Ultra
2) No wifi 7 , 3 cameras at night are worse than previous phone , pathetic chiice to crop from 69mm when person wants 230mm at night.
3) base 8GB ram
4) less than 70% after running wildlife benchmark.
5) no data to show how bad calibrated screen is, as usual.
6) weaker video quality compared to previous
7) high SAR like many chinese phones and ipads
8) overclocked SoC with zero benefits to users, besides claiming better geekbench score
9) obscene prices outside USA. You pay €1580 if you want the 12GB version

What on earth is going on with the charging speed tests with the S23 series..? Pretty sure it's short bursts of 45W before it throttles down to 25W, probably due to some software shenanigans.
Can we perhaps see a chart or two? A USB multimeter isn't that expensive. Plus, please standardize it using the same charger across all tests. We're in the era of USB PD after all.

Apparently whoever wrote it didn't understand the difference between GiB and GB. ~35 GB of that "60 GB" didn't exist in the first place. You can also blame US legislation for that author's confusion.
