How come it has a lower battery score than the S21+ when it does much better in all 3 categories?

Another year with 190g+ phones? These are too heavy.

Rich countries don't want anything from China and yet America did it's damn best to bury Huawei under frivolous excuses..

Iago Gomes, 16 Feb 2023In Brazil comes the charger in the box in three versions. As it should be. This charger removal for faux ecology is the biggest tech scam of the last 2 decades.

In Brazil comes the charger in the box in three versions.

A phone at this price range must, *must* have a 1440p screen. Like come on Samsung, the entire S10 range used to have it. At 393PPI, the screen is less sharp than most of their A-series range of phones. The battery's size is also again less than the A-series, topping out at 300mAh less than the 5000mAh that the A54 has. Also, why does a $1000+ phone not have dual-firing speakers? If the price was more like $900-$1000, and had all the features I'm talking about, then it would be a lot more competitive and would actually sell well.

Sindroid, 15 Feb 2023I went to look at the S23 line this weekend.. To be honest... moreI agree, Galaxy lost its elegance after S10. S20 is especially ugly but S6 is still a gorgeous phone today.

I personally love the S23 6.1", think it's better than the S23+ unless you want a larger screen with a rather low PPI. 425ppi is accept and a marginal difference compared to my iPhone 13 Pro.

One big advance the S23 has over my iPhone, is its weight. Because it's way lighter and compares to 6.1" iPhones of previous generations, it's simply much more comfortable to hold with one hand. What's more, MUCH less susceptible to accidental drops.

And guys, don't let the camera sensor marketing hype get you. As Google phones have shown over and over again, its the optimization (and sometimes the SOC) that counts.

I went to look at the S23 line this weekend..
To be honest, they are very dull looking.. They reminded me of iPhoneX frame. Gone are the sleek alien curves that made the S10 so elegant. Designwise they are a big step back..
The Ultra was a square soul-less piece of tech..

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2023If you whant battery so bad by A or M series. On the old S-... moreIf I'm never going to use 1440p, it's a pointless feature for me. Even if you select a lower resolution the phone still has the extra pixels. the GPU still needs to calculate what to do with those additional pixels. Still has to power those extra pixels. Reducing the resolution does not really save much battery. I was clear about my reasons for getting the S23+. In the US there really isn't another option that has everything I want. Large flat screen, wireless charging, Good cameras, great battery life. The OP 11 was close. A bit concerned that it has a bigger battery and lower battery performance than the S23+ with an overclocked processor. The OP 11 just doesn't check enough boxes for me. Samsung has been excellent at providing monthly software updates on my S21+ for 2 years. As I recall OnePlus was hit or miss with monthly updates.

390 ppi display on a $1000 phone lmao

"If you happen to use the Samsung Internet browser on your phone"
Just one of the close to 1 billion active users.

"Samsung is introducing Modes and Routines, a feature similar to Apple's Focus"
Pretty sure Bixby Routines, as called previously, has been here for years.

I am from Sydney, Australia and received my S23+ 512GB on 10th Feb and have been using it since then. I can tell battery time is excellent on this phone. Despite a lot of Apps installation, updates, and playing with settings etc, its battery time is holding pretty well, and no heating issues as well so far.
