Doesn't seem to have much issues, other than battery drain, but he does use his phone heavily, and its almost near two years old at this point.

Pumpino, 31 Mar 2023Why is the S23 superior to the Pixels when I prefer the pho... moreIt is just personal preference. I think the S23 series is better in some regards (which matters to me)-

      - Better (longer) software support.
      - Better Chipset Performance and Efficiency.
      - Better Battery life
      - Personally prefer the camera performance of S23; it is not too overly HDR processed (especially in shadows region) while containing the highlights well.
      - Also, I like to do quite a bit of photography and processing, and S23 has better manual control for photography. It has the ability to shoot 14/16 bit RAW (DNG) with HDR. Also, its lens is superior, which is apparent by its very low lens flare (even lower than iPhone).

Mind you, these are things that matter to me more, so I prefer this. Many people like stock Android OS, so they might like the Pixel more. But, personally, I like One UI so, it doesn't bother me all that much.

mataisgone, 31 Mar 2023Some chinese phones make it too vibrant. Nobody like dull a... moreThat's very true. These people simply just sit in front of their computer, phone, tab or whatever, and blindly hate on these devices. I don't think they even know what white balance actually means. Most phones have stopped producing natural photos because when they do blind tests, people normally like photos which are a bit saturated (not too much saturated, but also, not natural looking.)

Pumpino, 31 Mar 2023Ok, but in what ways do you consider Samsungs to be superio... moreLol what ? Stop being a blind hater and hating on everything. One thing you can't say is that samsung displays are oversaturated. They give you two options: Vivid, which is slightly saturated and tuned for accurate DCI-P3 colour space; and Natural mode: which is tuned for accurate sRGB colour space, and its very accurate at that. So there is no reason for you to say its oversaturated and if you think so, use natural mode instead.

Khutteshwor, 31 Mar 20233.1Edit : Its using ufs 2.2 samsung india already confirmed, imagine 400$ phone using ufs 2.2 in 2023 LMFAO, redmi note 12 turbo using ufs 3.1 at cheaper price, don't buy this a54

Forget about it, unless Samsung decide to rebrand it (which is rarely possible)

Redmi 12 turbo destroy this crap, a54 used ufs 2.2, redmi 12 turbo used ufs 3.1, sd gen 2+ having antutu 970k probably can up to 1milion antutu, this crappy exynos 1380 stuck in 500k and throttle in heavy long usage for that price really terrible, redmi 12 turbo can turn on eis on 4k30fps this crappy a54 still shaky @4k30fps due to weak isp, a54 having thick ugly bezzel and chin, the front looks so cheap in 2023 lol, redmi note 12 turbo + gcam destroy this crap a54, by far 12 turbo having better design overall, the bad MIUI can be replaced with nova + KWGT its will looks more beautifull than oneui.

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2023Does this have UFS 2.2 or UFS 3.1?3.1

S21fe is far better than a54 in every aspect and i dont know why sansung put higher price for this 202 gr phone maybe for glass back panel!!!!

Redmi 12 turbo destroy this, this mf can't turn on eis on 4k30fps, so its shaky, redmi 12 turbo are stable on 4k30fps due to chips isp can handle it, this + gcam + nova launcher + kwgt would destroy A54 this on every segments and its much cheaper.

The inefficiency of the Exynos 1380 chip is baffling.

                              A54 with 1380 scores 119h in battery test. A52s with 778G scores 113h. But-

                              1) A54 has a 500 mAh bigger battery

                              2) A54 has a more efficient screen (M10 emitter)

                              3) A54's screen has Adaptive Refresh Rate

                              4) A54's screen is slightly smaller

All these advantages compared to A52s means that the A54 should have much better battery life, maybe even 130h or more. But that's not happening in reality because the inefficient Exynos 1380 drags down the battery life of an otherwise great hardware combination.

So the A52s is still better than this, even after more than 2 years? Really disappointing

Surprisingly, the A54 launched at the same price as A53 in my country (1899MYR or 430USD). So the pricing is far more competitive compared to other regions.
