I just purchased a A54 back in May 2023. Pretty light weight. Bright screen. It's Android 13. My previous phone was Adroid 11.
My only complaint is that when l look through my email, sometimes when I am swiping through them the screen freezes and I can't see any other emails. I have to tap twice at the top of the screen in order to continue swiping.
However, I am quite happy with the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G.

yes, I have a galaxy a54 and as soon as I bought it I bought a type c to jack 3.5 adapter and it works perfectly.
obviously you won't have the possibility to recharge the battery, but in the end it's better this way, to be safeguarded the battery is better not to recharge it while using the smartphone

I have to admit the A34 is a very good proposition. I kinda feel like the A54 and A34 are similar in closeness to the Pixel 7 and 7a.
Other than the teardrop and a little here there's not a huge difference. Plus Dimensity looks better for battery life than the Exynos.

It has overhearing issues and screen temperature reaches to 37 deg centigrade.
As per Samsung service feedback this is acceptable temperate, which actually is too much.
If this persists, nobody will like to burn their fingers for a mobile.

The bezel doesn't mean anything. Lots of ODM designs have thinner bezels. Samsung just chose to differentiate this phone using bezels because good A series phones like the A52s ate into S series' sales.

The bezel size increase on the A54 especially is highly suspicious, but is there any way/source to tell definitively (or at least with high enough certainty) whether this is an ODM phone or not?
