      Seems quite nice, and with some improvements, e.g. IP67, over the previous model(s), and so it should be. However, it would have been nice to see a dedicated sd-card slot, some faster charging - including charger - and a 3.5 jack for that price. Yes, I know there are adapters, and that I'm a bit conservative, but still... 😉

                Smellmet, 11 Apr 2023They're both the same aren't they?Read the review, it takes the A34 more than half an hour longer to a full charge. Also compared to A33 with same battery and charging rate.

                          It's a good phone, the €400 price was a bit steep but it can be found closer to €300 now which is a fair price for what it offers. If in 6 months the price comes to 250-260 then it'd be the best deal around.

So you cannot use your specific discounted prices as a comparison. We have to use MSRP if we want to do comparison.

                              I mean I can say an iphone is the better choice because I got it for free as a present. But it's an invalid comparison.

                                      I think it was a hardware decision once Sammy realised the efficiency discrepancy between the two chips. They won't admit it but they also made the A34's panel bigger than its predecessor.. and the A54's panel smaller than its predecessor as an extra, last gasp, effort to (fruitlessly) bring the battery life of both in line with each other.
