As I said before, the A54 isn't as battery efficient as other chipsets in it's segment

Chavis, 11 Apr 2023It's in the pipeline. Expect to see it next week. How about making best sounding speakers arcticle again?

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2023How did manage Samsung to make this plastic phone to weigh 200g?The plastic is really thick and strong, watch gupta durability test on youtube.

I wonder how is the camera when compared with A54? If the performance is similar, A34 really has excellent C/P ratio.

Murr, 11 Apr 2023Samsung could have made this the midrange king. But as usua... moreSamsung's mid-range king is the A5x series, not the A3x. Their star model is the A54. We are lucky that Samsung gives A34 IP rating. Prior to the A33, A3x series never gets any IP rating.

Nika, 11 Apr 2023Why this phone have greater endurance in battery than redmi... moreBecause MiUI is less optimized than OneUI. Samsung generates more profit than Xiaomi, as such Samsung can spend more money for better software development than Xiaomi.

This phone is better than the A54. Its cheaper and offers the same features. The chip is the biggest difference here. You rather buy the A34 over the A54.

Rob G, 11 Apr 2023Cynical of me.. but I wonder if Samsung locked the 120hz re... moreProbably due to simply the panel they use is an older generation. It is unfortunate though, as this means 120Hz on this is almost pointless. And yeah, the TSMC made Dimensity 1080 should be better in efficiency than Exynos.

Zuzuz, 11 Apr 2023Poco F3 wipe the floor with this garbage. Every Redmi 12 is... morePoco F3 is around the same price, but older and lesser IP rating. Only get the F3 is you are into gaming. But it's a trade off, you're getting better SoC for older/shorter software support.

Kasra76, 11 Apr 2023You have to be on s.th to buy this!! There are better alte... moreThe S21FE is about 50 to 60% more expensive than this. It's easy to say how a more expensive model is better. But compared to the competitions at its price, the A34 is a very good deal as most other phones with Dimensity 1080 are selling for higher prices.

Samsung could have made this the midrange king. But as usual, Samsung likes to screw up their phones. Tear drop notch for a midrange in 2023 is seriously screwed up. The stable ui is the only reason a person might consider this phone.

You have to be on s.th to buy this!!
There are better alternatives out there!

I would prefer to buy S21 Fe or Pixel 6a
And the funny part is that you can actually buy them cheaper these days!!

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2023Kinda silly how many people don't think about charging... moreWould you blow up a balloon to bursting capacity then keep trying to blow air into it for another 6 hours until you're ready to use it? No. It's all over the internet that you should keep your phone between 40-80% charged to preserve its lifespan. The Samsung A34 I'm writing this on has an optional charging feature where 85% is the maximum amount it will charge to, for this very reason. Overnight charging is an old-fashioned and very destructive charging method that should never be encouraged.

Cynical of me.. but I wonder if Samsung locked the 120hz refresh rate as a means of reducing the battery life here.. as they knew their Exynos-powered A54 was struggling to compete in this department..

                                        List of CONS:
Not having 3.5mm Audio jack, isn't that a worth-mentioning con?
