my dream phone tbh, too bad its too expensive:(

Performance: 9/10 - The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, octa-core CPU, and high benchmark scores indicate excellent performance for demanding tasks and gaming.

Camera: 8/10 - The triple-camera setup with a high-resolution main camera, ultrawide lens, and macro camera should offer versatile photography options. However, without specific camera assessments, it's challenging to provide a definitive rating.

Display: 9/10 - The 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 165Hz, HDR10+ support, and excellent brightness levels ensures a vibrant and immersive visual experience.

Software: 8/10 - Android 13 provides an up-to-date and feature-rich operating system with access to a wide range of applications. However, personal preferences may vary, and user experience can be influenced by the device's software implementation.

Design: 9/10 - The device features a premium design with a glass front and back, aluminum frame, and IP54 water resistance. The inclusion of a secondary OLED display, pressure-sensitive gaming triggers, and built-in motorized cooling adds uniqueness to the design.

Battery: 9/10 - The 6000mAh battery capacity, combined with fast charging capabilities, allows for extended usage without frequent recharging.

Overall, the device offers impressive specifications and features that cater to performance, photography, display quality, and battery life. However, subjective preferences and real-world usage may further influence the overall experience.

zodiacfml, 15 Apr 2023absurd. i don't like Apple but an iPhone 14 is faster ... moreYou ever used a phone with a 165hz screen? It is day and night difference compare to a 60hz iPhone screen, and do not doubt the performance of the high end snapdragon chipset nowadays, try before you make judgement

How and where do you purchase ROG phones other than Amazon or BestBuy? It seems almost impossible to purchase from the ROG phone site itself.

Can i play GTA 5 on this phone with such high specs?
If yes i will buy otherwise will not.

I know this is not a camera phone, it's a gaming phone first, but I can't with the camera quality review. Why are you calling it detailed? The grass is an over-sharpened mess that literally looks 2D. It's taken straight out of the OnePlus playbook. Go zoom in on the grass details in the first picture, it has no dimension, it is literally flat. Call a spade a spade, I swear no harm will come!

I'm really losing faith in GSMArena when it comes to camera reviews. Every review is flattering, even if the camera samples say otherwise.

As someone who has used the Legion Y90, which is similar to this smartphone, I choose this phone because the USB port on the side and the dual speakers on the front that can be held sideways and not blocked by the hand are very convenient. The price issue is that the RAM is reduced to 8GB, but there is a way to get Global ROM into the Chinese version of the machine, which you can buy for $650.

After many Samsungs, 5 Iphones, 2 Sonys for me is best option Asus ROG or Nothing 2. Bought recently ROG 6 and waiting, maybe, for a secondary phone Nothing 2. My decition of ditching Iphones was that I have 3 cars and downloaded the manuals for them that a need to look two days a week, but iphone dont let transfer them to pc/usb if my phone would be lost. Samsung was ditched to its DEX and Bixby that I don't use and Exynous processors in Europe (from S23 theybl use Snapdragon, but why overpay as they keep rising phones prices..). I remember when in Samsung store I tried every of Samsung flagships, but for the price of 1100€ ROG6 was the winner for sure in performance and audio and 512GB storage (less is not for me, as I have bought many audio, video files and also I am a little of gamer and make pics and videos a lot, so lot storage is needed for me)

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2023I -too- love wasted space. (Btw the reason they do it is... moreIn fact I'd argue that notches waste more space than bezel cameras. Imagine having a huge screen where your media consumption and/or gaming is always disrupted by a notch on the side. The notch completely defeats the purpose of the ever increasing quality of screens of smartphones by making around 1-3% of your screen forcing.

(Btw the reason they do it is... moreAh yes the Sony Xperia 5 IV one of the more compact phones in the market is wasting space with all the huge brick phones in the market sure its wasted space. You just don't wanna admit that the notch implementation is stupid and that other implementations like pop-up cameras are solutions to problems that never existed. Cope more.

(Btw the reason they do it is not anesthetics, it's because in their case it is not wasted space, it's thumb rest given that it is a gaming phone and you need a place to rest your thumbs from time to time).

Unfortunate. Most of the things that really needed improvement in this formula didn't get improved. The discrete DAC is still missing, the camera setup is still far from flagship-worthy, and although Asus completely nailed it with ROG Flow's design, among a few others, and even as gaming notebook designs in general are moving in the right direction, the ROGP family stubbornly remains...tacky, superfluous.
