Is the Kunai 3 bumper case compatible with ROG Phone 7, like shown in one of the pictures? Or is it just an old pic of a ROG Phone 6?

"IP54 certified body. Gorilla Glass Victus on the front, Gorilla Glass 3 on the back."
Since when IP54 and GG3 are positive things on any phone above $170?

Good to see that ROG haven't caved on the dumb notch implementation. by using the only proper use of front cam and putting them into the bezels.

Oki, 13 Apr 2023Considering how every android update screws something up ab... moreeven my old phones with only one major update a year and small updates maybe twice a year were more stable than phones now with monthly updates, something always gets worse or a new bug comes up with so many updates. but its just my preference, i can see why so many people like more long term updates as well.

"The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is basically built like a rock and features an extremely rigid middle frame, with practically no flex, sandwiched between two glass surfaces"
This part I will believe when Zack tests it and confirms

Alex 94, 13 Apr 2023Two android updates is not enough for 1400€ phone.Considering how every android update screws something up about gaming such as system restrictions and incompatibility with emulators, having no android updates would actually be a positive for a gaming phone

People who think this is overkill for gaming since other flagships perform just as well have obviously never heard let alone touched emulation gaming on android. Emulators are just starting to evolve and phones like this are great for that with some add ons and features that you people call gimmicks. It's not your everyday phone and it's not for everyone, deal with it

Impressive piece of hardware. Very expensive but probably top 3 when it comes to Android hardware, and definitely #1 for gaming.

Asus lost touch with reality. It trades blows with S23 Ultra but with worse build quality wile maintaining similar price. There are no good reason to buy it. If it still bends in the pocket it will be laughable. I think the era of gaming phone has come to an end. They focused in performance but the SOC is the same of the other flagships and are so efficient compared to older gens that the cooler factor is just gimmick. You will have less time of software support, worse durability and basically the same battery duration. It is time to game phones to become rugged phones so at least you will game with it on the street with less concern for it dropping.

If they can make the phone bigger, at least they can install a built in fan, bigger battery, bigger screen, shoulder button, microSD etc.. that would be great. Forget about compact size, handheld gaming consoles like Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck are bigger than this.
