And charger in the box

For example the Xiaomi mi 11 lite with an OV64b and 8mp ultrawide got 111. Not sure why you think 105 is a good score. It's an average midrange score

The phone for sure needs further optimisation in my opinion after using it a few days. Although I have my doubts about MIUI itself.

Why don't Xiaomi just use stock Android, less work for them and happier customers.

After using the phone for a few days now my points:

                Pros:
                Very fast
Lightweight for the nice size and battery capacity
Screen is quite nice, great size.
Side mounted fingerprint is better than under display ones and is so fast it's instant.

                Negatives:
Horrendous optimisation of OS. Whenever you plug it into charge, even with a slow 0.7w charger charger the system_server and zygote64 processes get stuck on 70% CPU causing the phone to heat up to 65c CPU cores. The whole phone gets almost too hot to touch. Pixel 7 on same test less than 5% usage and zygote64 nowhere to be seen.

P.s I have run manual optimisation process via ADB so there is no reason for the constant high temperatures.

Pocket mode is very inconsistent despite having an IR proximity sensor it doesn't seem to be used always, instead it relies on the gyroscope sensors. Why they can't do such a simple thing I don't know. Even my old Xiaomi Mi 9T could do this perfectly.

Battery life is not so good, standby is ok but screen on time is fast drain.

No per app refresh rate setting. The review mentions "And if you are having any compatibility issues with apps, you can always try to force 120 or 60Hz refresh rate as the system allows you to adjust that on per app basis" there is no option anywhere for this. Even the game mode doesn't allow manual setting of refresh rates.

                Occasional MIUI UI bugs.

Xioami need to make some bug fixes asap.

Alex 94, 12 May 2023Soc is unstable, and far less optimised then sd 870.It's less optimized because it's a new chipset. A new chipset, even from the same brand, will always be "less optimized" than the older one from the same brand.

Alex 94, 12 May 2023Since when side fingerprint reader is not good? Its fast an... moreSamsung A34 is more like an all-rounder device, while Poco F5 is more like a gaming-focused device. You can see how they just mostly focused on the 7+ Gen 2's performance, while they're "skipping" another part that feels not really important for gamer like camera (that's what Asus also did with their ROG lining, they never really care about their ROG's camera). If gaming is not your priority, then A34 is the best choice for this pricing and this device is CLEARLY not for you. However if you're a huge mobile gamer, AnTuTu score doubling has a very different impact on graphics and game performance. Some gamers don't even care how their UI looks or feels like. As long as they can play their favorite game on that phone smoothly, it's a good device for them.
