Both have their pros and cons, but for the life of me I don't see any being the better option..

so gsma, you say the side-mounted finger print scanner is a cons? how do you consider under display finger print scanner is better than side-mounted?? even for effectiveness in use, side mounted is much easier and more effective...! imagine when you have to hold your smartphone with one hand so that your other hand can stick your finger properly on the screen..! not to mention if you decide to install a screen protector etc...! Even when your smartphone screen needs to be replaced, it will cost you more than a side-mounted finger print scanner smartphone

How come nobody is saying anything about the fact that this smartphone is the most powerful mid range Smartphone, running on powerful Snapdragon 7+Gen 2. You'll are just talking about display and camera. If you're looking for Camera then go for Redmi Note 12 Pro+🤷

If you chose to not buy f5 buy f3, Poco f4 its just not worth

Ermjay, 09 Aug 2023Please which would you advice to get between the Poco F3, F... moreI didn't know you can buy Poco F3 now... It's more than 2 years old, where exactly are you going to buy it from?

During the past decade I owned Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus 4G, F3, X4 GT and F5. F3 is my absolute favorite, it has a special "personality" that's difficult to explain in words, you simply fall in love with it.

F3 was doubtless infested with bugs out of the box, but Xiaomi has fixed most of them by now. However, I don't know if I would buy it now for the exact reasons you mentioned in your comment... Strategically speaking, maybe it would be wiser to invest in an F5, it's a powerful beast. All the BS you read about the camera is nothing more than BS! The camera is almost perfect and it does its job perfectly well, unless you're a professional photographer of course, then it's better you buy a decent camera instead. You might also need to adjust the sound and display in the settings to fit your personal taste. I adjusted the sound settings a little because I'm a heavy podcast listener.

I always buy my phones in the EU. Unfortunately I have to pay more for them, but at least I know they're not fake, and that they always have the right network bands and charger, in addition to the 2 years warranty.

Please which would you advice to get between the Poco F3, F4 and F5 based on value for money. Seeing some negative reviews on this F5 which isn't pushing me to get it

Would hage gone for the F3 but it is approaching its EOL support next year which is a concern and Android 13 will be the last android upgrade on it. Please I need your opinions

Zen, 16 Jun 2023I dont know why this radwind guy is laughing, probably a po... moreThe display is actually very nice. Not in the default settings though. Just go into settings and add about 10% of saturation AND reduce gama by 10%. The overall brightness is just enough for comfortable use on sunny days, could have been a little bit better.
The same goes for audio output. Stock settings are hissy, flat and dull but once you disable the Dolby and enhancements, the clarity is good and you can reduce the mid/treble by eq.
I'm on the F5 for over a week now. I have a second unit because I didn't like the color I selected. I have to say that the first one had much better feel of the lock button but the fingerprint detection was worse. Not really consistent quality with these phones it seems.
The camera performance is quite decent so far. The OIS works nicely. I miss nice telephoto module.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied but I miss the SD card slot a lot. I like to transfer images from my camera to phone and keep them there. The internal storage is quite limiting factor even with 256gb.
The aesthetics is not a pro of this device. The back is plastic and it cannot be hidden.

                                    My rating:
Display 8/10 - more brightness would be nice
Audio output 7/10 - Clear output with proper settings, mid/treble is more significant in comparison with others
Speakers 6/10 - lack of bass, quite loud
                                    Camera - 7/10
Form factor - 8/10 - weight to size is balanced, very thin bezels are nice
Performance (10/10) - I don't play any games so I cannot really rate this. But it is very smooth for daily use.
                                    Screen is very responsive.
Battery 7/10 - I was expecting a little bit better endurance from 5Ah battery, but still it is hard to go below 30% on the end of the day. The fast charging is great and 15 minute break at the charger would give you enough power for half day use.

Anonymous, 29 Jul 2023No heat wave in AfricaWell in Africa probably temp in winter goes down to +10C and it's already panic.
So probably normal temp in summer is around +30C without heatwave.

I am from a country where in winter temp can go as low as -30C but average coldest month is around -10C to -20C and that is more in the inland as close to the sea is wormer as the sea is warming up the land near it. This year no heatwave reach to my country as it's normal +15C to +20C with a lot of rainy days. When there be heatwave it be like +30C to +35C.

So even without heatwave the temp should be high in Africa and also depends where in Africa as that is a large continent
