Zen, 16 Jun 2023I dont know why this radwind guy is laughing, probably a po... moreI also came from mi 9t and was disappointed that the display color on F5 is not as good as the 9t's display. However, after I tweaked a color profile setting, the display looks very similar to the 9t now. This is my setting. Choose DCI-P3. Reduce red and green a little, about 5%. Increase contrast a little, about 5% from default setting. Reduce gamma to a minimum. This setting makes the display on my F5 as good as a saturated profile on 9t.

I came from the mi9t and the F5's display really do look washed out or pale at vivid settings. Also compared it to other displays like a52s, iP12 and 13, even an IPS LCD phone and a VA panel monitor, these displays' colors looks close to each other. I think its just a bug or color not calibrated well on the setting.
For now I am using Saturated settings but tbh its a bit too saturated but I guess its better than vivid.
Though I did noticed that when playing an HDR video, everything looks fine. Color looks punchy and contrast is great. That is why I think its just a bug or color settings not calibrated properly.
The camera is decent enough for me. Dont really take pictures much aside from the usual for the memories types of situations.
The performance really is great though, phone feels smooth and snappy from switching apps to scrolling through social media. Though I can sacrifice a bit of performance to get a better display if I can.
Will wait for atleast 3-6 months probably and will see if they can fix it with an update, but if not will probably sell the phone and just go back to my mi9t and wait for a better one. The display is really important to me so yeah.

What would you guys recommend? This or the S21 FE, I'm more concerned about the camera quality. I feel like the S21 FE's camera is better but other than that, this phone takes it easily right?

Some cases, it lags the device esp if it's a cheaper SD card and not from a reputable brands. or shall I say having a low-spec SD card. SD Cards are not created equal.

The biggest CON for me is the AMOLED. It looks pale and less vibrant. The colors are not so vivid as compared to Redmi Note 10S (Amoled) and Mi 9 SE (Amoled). The differences are noticeable if you put them side-by-side. I don't like that tech youtubers did not mention even the slightest. Tech youtubers, are holding back the cons (as there's an embargo period) If this concerns you, skip this phone.
The cameras are mediocre at best, if you're onto selfies, videography, taking photos mostly, skip this phone.
For gamers, rejoice as this is a beast with 1M+ antutu scores. This phone tops the charts. This phone is for you gamers.
SD 7+gen2 w/ 12GB (upto 19GB) RAM is great.

long time is around 5 minutes... that mean you can use it like a night clock for example, cause it turn totally off after few minutes. other brands, like samsung, huawei, oppo, realme... stay on in every conditions
