Also I had browser, reddit etc opened and it never reload and was not killed even on standard battery saver setting, not even applied 'no restrictions' yet. Also why change your name suddenly to AnonD-1057631 lol.

It's by far the smallest issue with this phone currently.
In fact if you research online you'd see many comments that also agree with this due to the MIUI "power keeper" app. When disabled this stops happening. You can also see this killing apps in adb logcat.
I'd hazard a guess many people don't notice it due to the speed it launches apps at anyway, but the issue is present still.

In fact Xiaomi encourages it many times... Cleaning memory is really bad as that just wastes battery power and is why Google is banning them, but Xioami still does it.

Just wanted to say that you crtisized the side mounted fingerprint reader - my personal requirement for a phone. So just to say that there are people who specifically shop for phones with side-mounted readers.

You've called people liars and exibited condescending behavior repeatedly, and all those people did was try to help. I have owned several Xiaomi devices, in fact I own one right now (Redmi Note 10 Pro), I've also owned Samsung and Sony phones, always updated them, and I've never had major issues with MIUI. And yes, with regards to the apps-killed-in-background issue, it definitely IS enough to allow them to auto-start, set to 'no restrictions' and, optionally, lock the app in memory.

You should also review band support, carrier agreggation and dual-band GPS.
Seems like it's a downgrade on all those features from the F4.
That's a shame.

It still kills apps. In fact there is only one way to prevent this and it breaks battery saving mode for all apps. Disable the Xiaomi power keeper app which kills apps. But it also prevents you using battery saving modes on any apps.
Perhaps if you did your own research and testing you'd find out.

Irwanchel, 16 May 2023Proof?Proof of what? If you don't believe me, order a Poco F5 and be amazed when pocket mode doesn't work in front of your very own eyes. Not to mention all of the other issues it has. Yeah it's extremely fast, but is it OK for daily use, no. Not at all.
