It has a faster charging speed, but in the end, it takes more time time to fully charge and have worse battery life. The display brightness is only 100 N brighter. The benchmarks shows almost identical performance in cpu and because of f5 having lower resolution it even performs better in the onscreen tests. F5 has 3.5 mm headphone jack, a more stylish design and finally it is cheaper. I don’t get it why you think the f5 pro deserves a better score compare to the f5.

    no preloaded Atari games

    by the way, 90% of 2022-2023's flagship phones doesn't include SD card slot, no headphone jack and have bad battery performance...

      The phone is an excellent heater but that's it for todays standards. It got a decent camera but nothing outstanding, exept it's particularly bad CPU.

        They changed score from 3.9 to 4.1

        Still, written review and data analysis is what matters. The review is easily telling normal F5 is more worth. If you want a camera update then stick with 12-13 series or other flagships at the 600-1000euros

          rizki1, 24 May 2023Since the screen is 1440p, most 8+ Gen 1 phones scored unde... moreno excuses, other 1440p phones like xiaomi 13 pro managed to reach over 110hrs, s23u, etc. they could just optimize and adjust the clock speed lower when we uses less demanding apps...its all about optimization

            For the same money is available OnePlus 10 pro which destroys this phone in every area.
            Ratings on portals like this are useless this device doesn't exist in a vacuum and phones from last year are still available

              My recommendations are Motorola Edge 40 or Realme GT Neo 5SE as the first thing to check out.

                bad battery...better pick poco f5 over this thing

                  Score was 3.9 and now is 4.1. This is very strange. My confidence in rewiews is very low now.

It doesn&#... moreOne of the alternatives mentioned was the Oneplus 10+ which comes with the same snapdragon 8+ gen 1, so that is a slightly stronger chip than the 7+ gen 2. Also in fairness, they did mention the F5 as a worthy alternative in the last sentence of the review. Whatever, score they give I don't think they should be changing the score after the review though at least without an explanation of why they are changing it.

                        Very disappointing,using the power hungry processor was a wrong choice.

                            Zuzuz, 24 May 2023And now is 4.1?! How can it have same score as F5? Why not lower? It doesn't have headphone jack and is more expensive. Camera is same and display is not noticeably better, battery life is worse even though bigger.

                            And how could they not recommend F5 as an alternative which undoubtedly has better chipset than all they alternatives they recommended. Yes, TSCM 7+ gen 2 is way better than Samsung 8 gen 1 and it's never an overstatement.

You can have the same sensors produce different results on two phones in different price categories, like the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Ace 2 has the same IMX 890 but of course the flagship one takes better photos/video. You also have Xperia 10 V with Sony IMX sensor on main cam but the results are subpar. You can have Pixel 6a with dated IMX363 but produce good results with Google's processing. So don't believe what anyone says and look at the photos taken to determine yourself!

In their supposed market (Southeast Asia + India), Poco's price range is around 30-50% cheaper than all their competitors mentioned in the review, which is seriously a very good price

                                        It's useless to put 1440p screen on a smartphone. 1080p is enough cuz it gives the best performance and battery life.
