Mollisol, 26 May 2023"Very slow charging, so-so battery life." -GSMAre... moreIf your love samsung doesn't do it google won't do it, and samsung only increases fast charging if your love apple does and I don't think they will for now

I love the rating-to-pros/cons weigh up comparison BC there is no reason to consider this at all imo

"Very slow charging, so-so battery life." -GSMArena
This is the biggest con making me not to make a shift to Pixel phones. Still waiting for 80W charging minimum I don't know when! Maybe when 🍏 makes the change Google might copy too otherwise I will stay clear for now 🖐️

Absolutely terrible battery life
No microSD
No headphone jack
Huge ugly bezels
Only 128GB storage with no storage expansion
Only 90hz display
Disappointing cameras overall
Chipset has throttling problems
But people will still defend this and say it's a good phone

Was interested to see the battery endurance on this one but unfortunately it ended up pretty lackluster. However the initial review highlighted excellent battery endurance over the course of a typical day. Maybe these tests aren't all that?

expensive for what you get, small screen, only 90hz, big bezels, very poor battery life, old cpu comparable to a 2 year old exynos, throttling cpu, no card slot, no headphone jack, why does google even bother making these phones

"Don't get a Pixel 7 - pick the 7a instead"
Wrong. Why keep insisting on this idea? The 7 actually costs almost the same as the 7a and has some nice advantages: premium build with glass GG victus all around and better ip68 protection. This alone is substancial. Little bit bigger screen with smaller chin and bezels, again, premium feeling. Camera sensors are a bit better in the 7 and even with google "magic", you'll see a difference in photos and videos. The wireless charge is more than double the power in the 7 which will make it charge faster and it has reverse charge which the 7a doesn't have. Seems like gimmicks but it ain't and all summed up, for almost the same price, the 7 is the better deal. Period. The 7a should be priced €449 and not €500.

Meh.
Pixels seem like good phones in general, but the weak battery life is a huge NO for me.
At that price, I just want my phone to last 2 days of normal use, not barely a day, and I don't want the "super fast" charging to compensate like other brands do.

Despite the cons, I still like it. Everything I need to upgrade from my Galaxy A13.
Very nice phone.

How the hell can Pixel with stock android 1080p 90hz screen and a 4400 battery have so mediocre battery life??
Thats even worse than S21 FE which had a Snap888 and a 120hz display.
At least the screen brightness is higher than Pixel 7.

Poor stablity in gpu and cpu and poor battery, google should change strategy and use better chipset from qualcomm or mediatek and make new tensor chip.

" The way the Pixels capture color is both vibrant and true-to-life and it was giving us consistently accurate white balance."
Unless objects are painted in vibrant colours (which I see is not the case ), it is either vibrant or true to life. Cannot be both in any scene shown here.
