Even xperia can afford using exmor only when sony electronics does not earn better price from sony semicon compared to what other oems pay, but Asus has 2 omnivision?

        Questionable phone from ASUS at an unforgiving price

          Disappointing it’s not 5000mah, would’ve been a huge purchase factor. For 800€ I’ll just get an iPhone 13 S23 or a Xiaomi 13, failphone

            I don't see how this justifies not getting cheaper Zenfone 9 instead. I can't consider this as an upgrade.

              Totally failure, time to wait for Xperia 5V, Telephoto+SD card slot, what a proper phone should have.

                That's a nice compact phone, this got everything I need, the only bad thing is that it only has 2 os.... But nevertheless It's still a great phone imo

                  So... S23 beats Zenfone in display characteristics, screen-to-body ratio, charging, battery life (considering smaller battery nearly the same endurance), stability, software support, image quality (the blurred comparison photo is simply terrible). And, of course, price.
                  What remains is some part of performance in the High mode, but nothing stellar.
                  Bye, Asus, maybe next year.

                    So they include the absolutely useless Wireless Charging and not an SD Card Slot? And no Telephoto, this just makes their new phone a complete failure. For small phones we should just wait for Xperia 5v, even the older Xperia 5ii and 5iv are far better small phones compared to this failure.

                        should've been called the Zenfone 9S. it's a chipset upgrade then a bunch of side-grades. there's just no reason not to pick up an S23 instead. Asus are losing focus.

                          With Oppo and Realme using the same rear camera design on their budget phones nowadays, I dont think the Zenfone 10’s styling (inherited from the 9) is really that standout anymore.

                            I don't know about smaller screen and flagship performance. I'd just get the Xiaomi 13 and get better cooling/throttling performance

                              IpsDisplay, 29 Jun 2023I guess the "compact" fans will like this I pe... moreNot really. I prefer the Galaxy S23. Its display isn't as narrow as the one on the ZenFone 10. Having a wider displays makes viewing web pages and using the qwerty keyboard more comfortable.
                              It's a pity Samsung doesn't offer a A Series galaxy phone with the dimensions of the Galaxy S23.

                                MKBHD should reward this phone bust of the year.
                                Seriously, besides new chipset, there is no any improvement. Downgrades, that has it.

                                  I have to say I'm a bit underwhelmed. I really like the new colour and wireless charging is also nice to have. Personally I would have preferred faster charging and instead of wide angle lens (that I almost never use) I would have prefer a tele lens. 5000 mA battery sounded too good to be true and as it turned out it was. I really want a small phone I can easily use with one hand and now I might take a closer look at the Xperia 5.

                                    those bezels are ugly!

                                      It's a great phone but not for 799€. If it was 100€ cheaper it would have a fair price point.
