I can definitely see both the Fold5 and Flip5 finally folds flat. That's the result from competition pressure. True tech enthusiast embrace it.

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2023A shame about the battery capacity parity between the 40mm ... morein case you dont know math, the area increase exponentially rather than linearly with diameter.

Neca, 26 Jul 2023Was interested in fold5, but this is underwhelmingWell what were you expecting, I mean what else was this ever going to be other than a minor iteration.

Honestly I think Samsung should introduce a phone that folds diagonally next year just to change it up for you lot who seem to want something new every 5 minutes, the Samsung Sandwich S they can call it 🤷‍♂️

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2023A shame about the battery capacity parity between the 40mm ... moreWhy do you immediately assume someone wants to penalize you for having a smaller wrist, while leaving every other possible explanation out of the equation?

No, 200+ grams will never be manageable, no matter the size or form factor.

A phone is a phone, not a brick.

I honestly think of folding (or flipping) phones as just more of a novelty.

They compromise in literally every possible way just to be able to fold.

The tablets are what I'm interested in. I can't believe how amazingly thin they are (they're literally 5mm thick, almost half as thin as regular phones).

A shame about the battery capacity parity between the 40mm and 44mm and 43mm and 47mm watches. The screen size difference is around 15% but the battery difference is 40%. It's not fair to penalise smaller wrists with a worse battery life. There's no way they'll give similar usage times.

The notch on the tab is such a cancer. It spreads on all devices. While there is obviously enough space in screen borders, they need to make a tablet with only one proper orientation.

Sooner their TV and washing machines will have a notch or cutout. Surprised there is none in the watch.

PeterThePanda, 26 Jul 2023So, basically no improvements on the inner display on the F... moreI think the crease issue will never be resolved for any flip phones, unless they provide 2 screens separately just like surface duo but the middle line will be a bother.

So, basically no improvements on the inner display on the Flip 5 and Fold 5.

Epic fail. All hype on the leaks but still no fix on that ugly center crease. lol.

Tab S9 series also a fail, Samsung had all the resources to pull off a true dynamic refresh rate from 10-120Hz yet still fails to do it. lol.

                              FINALLY AMOLED!

I'm still missing a successor for the Tab S2 8" though. Thin, light, pocketable, AMOLED>
