Great phone for it's price. Had it for 3 days now (arrived at March 22nd, 2024), and so far, it offered a great gaming experience. Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Honkai Impact, Call of Duty: Mobile— all these demanding games installed, and the everything still runs smoothly and the storage is still wide.
Camera is great— I love the AI and 50 MP rear lens.
My only complain is how fast the battery drains, though. It drains VERY fast. Other than that, everything else is fine.

I've had my Pova 5 Pro for about 3 months. Camera quality and tools surprised me, pretty nice results. It feels very high quality for it's price. I've got 0 complaints about performance which I'm shocked because usually I'm running Debian in Termux in the background. I get no surprise restarts or strange things happening, and most of the quirky features Tecno designed I actually like and haven't disabled. I change phones a lot because I like to experiment with interesting new devices and this one pleasantly surprised me.

Tecno pova 5G pro this phone have so much problems they have hangings problem and automatic restart I have so poor quality and experience with this

Simon, 22 Oct 2023I'm very interested and excited because if I use the p... moreit would largely satisfy your needs. this phone offers fast and efficient chip, large 256gb storage at low price. but only cons is the software update, and no ultrawide sensor. i'm pretty sure you would use and enjoy this for more than 3 years. only if you use with proper care. tecno phones usually don't last forever with abusive usage.

you have to suffer, 11 Sep 2023it is normal for a mediatek processor.I'm using Infinix Zero X Pro for 1.5 years and it's completely different from the Samsung my father uses in terms of reading the user experience. My phone doesn't have any feature to read my usage and make a user profile, battery is still solid except when I play NDS emulators.
On the other hand, I had to disable and restrict several functions and apps on my father's Samsung or the battery barely entured an whole day of use and the Device Care app on Samsung showed significant improvement after the changes I did.

In the gsmarena review it shows "5G" on the box, but the specs show it is LTE only?
