They’re giving the 65W charger for free, that was the case with both pre-orders and now, so its not exactly right when you say Samsung doesn’t supply a charger with the tablet :). Well, this is in Europe, the US gets the slim keyboard cover I think. Maybe even the charger. Not sure what’s the situation in Asia.
Front ultra-wide camera is nice to have for some people during videoconferencing. It’s a different age now, working from home is so common for office folks and here and there you have to make a presentation over Zoom, ultra-wide is extremely handy for that because you just don’t fit when presenting over standard camera lens.
Screen notch is absolutely no issue because you don’t even notice it when doing stuff on the tablet. What really bothers me is the camera cut-out on phones – I have a phone with the largest screen ever made (Note20 Ultra) and it still bothers me! Nobody talks about that but for some reason people mention light camera protrusion on the largest tablet on the market. Where else would you put the cameras when bezels are this slim? :) By the way when watching movies you don’t see it at all, because there are black bars at the top and bottom.
I would rate the tablet 4.9 just because nothing is perfect, but I don’t even know what’s not perfect with this device!

Overpriced and oversized. Not sure how this review can recommend this tablet.
And it didn’t even compare with the M series iPads. The benchmarks compare it with a 2 year old iPad instead. Makes no sense.

You should compare its chipset performance with ipad pros m1 or m2. Definitely it is not the best hardware available to mass market.

You can Cast via Chromecast to Android TV now, just enable the option in the Labs section:

you know, all that space along the sides can easily house atleast one- headphone jack, USB A, HDMI or a second type c port

I think the most important aspect is the processor. I was curious to compare it with my iPad Air 5 Cellular. Better screen the Samsung but the M1 scores at Geekbench 5.2 1807 vs 1652 in single core performance of the 8gen2 and 7691 against 5210 of the 8gen2 in multi core performance. By all means someone that will buy S9 will not be disappointed! But I wanted to make comparison with my old iPad.

Straight up a better iPad Pro. The little notch is annoying, but here it's done pretty tastefully and won't really interfere anything nor cut badly into your screen

Very overpriced considering the typical screen issue with samsung's phone after certain years. My s20+ got green line issue and my tab s4 screen keep flickering here and then.

when you copy paste even things that you dont need like the notch...its embarrassing
iPhone and the macs had that notch for the camera and faceID
here on a tablet that big....they didnt had to like they didnt had on the S8 ultra

16:10 is way better for video consumption (YouTube, Netflix...), better than 16:9 for 2 separate windows. In portrait mode, IMO the 16:10 is perfect for browsing the web

ravi, 12 Sep 2023The moment a tablet screen has laptop aspect ratio then tha... moreFor one-handed Potrait mode use, I can see 4:3 and 3:2 makes a lot of sense since they're both shorter than 16:10 and 16:9 vertically. But bring the 4:3 and 3:2 tablet back in Landscap mode, and you can feel the keyboard cramped and not as wide as 16:10 and 16:9. So it all depends on what you're going to use the tablet as in the first place.
