Barely an upgrade, especially not for what the fruit company is asking for the base model

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2023No, it is not. Gsmarena used to test at 60 and 120. N... more4h what, SOT? If the difference is that massive, the issue is with the OS. On a modern phone you get an hour more SOT at best.

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2023Of course with 60hzBut it's fine for Apple.
Apple's interface is very smooth tbh. I have an iPhone 14 plus and 13 pro max, can't tell the diff. Even 13 Pro has some ghosting.

My guess is they have no set system and just give a 'subjective' overall impression score. Otherwise why not publish how they rate phones? I would be very surprised if they have any set scoring system

You don't need to have an actual device to see if the review is fair or not, if many readers see that a reviewer is trying to take a side regarding a particular topic (e.g. Mentioning a con for a particular brand but not for others) then there is a chance that their reviews are not objectively rating the devices like they should.

It was not only Samsung fans saying that the given score was unjustified for Xperia 1, a lot of readers, regardless of their preference, found it to be way too high and asked GSMA to revise it. I can also spot that you had been trying your best to justify the initial score as a die-hard fan of the brand before GSMA betrayed your expectation and made you feel super salty about them.

My advice is that you should work on dealing with your own bias before criticising others for their biases. Right now it's clearly skewing your view in an undesirable way.

To see score was changed after " reader saw an error with gsmarena score system" , when readers do not have access to it.

Only the call time drags it down in the whole battery test number, so that could be for (some) people bit misleading. F. e. I use phone for everything except calling, so in that respect I am personally satisfied.

They had really improved the battery a lot here.
98h for 3300mah? You must be kidding.

With the overheating issue that some sites have attributed to the new A17 Pro and by an analyst to the "compromised thermal design" with "higher heat conductivity of titanium" and the 15 Pro Max review indicating that the new iOS version might not be as optimized as its predecessor, I think it's fair to say that there's more interest in how the smaller 15 Pro fares amidst all that, especially as this review concluded that buyers who are looking into the vanilla 15 basically just want the least expensive new iPhone so this review really isn't changing anyone's mind about the vanilla 15 either way.
