2) both phones can easily have same screen, vivo may not feel useful to go beyond values screen is able to put. These stuff can be controled by software.
For years Find X and OnePlus had same screen, despite price difference that was about €200-300

But even then, the X100 pro is 1.5-2x the GT5 Pro's price, I think it'd be expected by consumers to get a better display yk? Bragging rights? Peace of mind that you've got the best rn? That's one of the key attractors for flagships yk.

Aierlan, 02 Jan 2024Vivo group of companies and OPPO group of companies operate... moreyes but BBK's companies mostly get the same stuff so that they can reduce costs yk? Why else would they have such similar specs and stuff. It's not because each phone is perfect but to have less costs. I just found it weird that a flagship killer has a better display than an actual flagship. I'm guessing they're saving the best for the X100 Pro+

Realme left the UK and other areas shame
We just need a flat screen the only flagship I'd buy so far is the IQ 12

Same old story
Marketing: phone charges at X watts
Reality: speed never reaches vale advertised, but 20-30% lower peak
Marketing: 1920 and 2160Hz foickering
Reality: 120 or 240 Hz according to notebookcheck tests
Marketing: 4500 nits
Reality: peak of 2700 according to D.M
Anyway, the imporant is to make clients believe the numbers.

Realme is notorious for not improving the cameras on their phones with updates after launch. Basically, what you got out of the box is the best the phone will ever get. You should actually hope the phone wont get worse from subsequent updates because that is something Realme frequently do to their flagships.

jiyen235, 02 Jan 2024How in the world does this phone have a better display than... moreVivo group of companies and OPPO group of companies operate independently. Both have separate staff, management r&d teams, completely different factories and different software. BBK is just a holding company. The companies would be making their own design choices

Neither the 2x nor the 6x use the high resolution of the sensor to improve their result. What a way to waste that hardware. Thus and with the very bad ultra angular they have left distance with respect to the true flagships).

Too bad for the video part... Perhaps an improvement via a future update? Apart from that and the average (and not very useful) ultra wide angle, it's a very good smartphone for the price

Remember how nothing changed it throught update?
How sony doubled value without using newer screen?
Easy to limit max brightness.

No Netflix HDR, in this case, it's even worse

LYT-808 not have stacked architecture like LYT-T808. There two different sensors: LYT-808 1/1.4" which named Imx966 from earlier leaks and T808 with double layer transistor and 1/1.35" size with 1/1.43" crop. You can search information about that in weibo. There naming confusion

Not bad, but I'm a bit disappointed in the telephoto, since it has the same hardware as the X6 Pro with a better ISP (the ultrawide is expectadly bad)
The iQOO 12 is the better deal, it may be a bit more expensive and you have to give up wireless charging, but it's the more complete package overall

And again you were tricked by Sony's renaming campaign (or you intentionally did this). This LYT-808 has nothing to do with LYT-T808 a.k.a IMX888... It does not have the same stacked technology...
